Just had Plesac praising my hit after a ‘several pitch at-bat’ (nine pitches).
I get that recording individual lines creates work, but when the vagueness becomes far too obvious the quality of the presentation suffers.
Got me to thinking about some of the less successful commentary compromises that are made when commentary has reached its limit.
Another favourite is Dan’s ‘WHIP of one point one zero or less’.
Any others that stick out?
