Player in use but

Not in any lineup or event roster does anyone know anything else that could be causing this?
Trying to sell but I have checked several times he's not in any team.

Nope it's Foxx i'm trying to sell and it's saying item is equipped. He was in a 2nd team but I removed him just now though the problem persists and I have no idea why.
Game crashed - restarted worked or i'm lying and he was sneakily in event roster.
