Can you imagine what the cost of top cards would be if they removed the cap? You already have nuts ( myself included) who have flipped so much they have millions upon millions of stubs that will never be spent, you remove the limit and people will go crazy and the average fan of the game will raise hell
That's a fair point, however it is important to admit the way it works now is also flawed. Especially with a fan favorite such as Mays, most people with 1 mil can't even purchase him if they wanted to because there was basically a race to put an order in. If you happened to not be in top 100 it's practically useless just waiting. Surely there is a better system than both of these extremes.

Just to keep the tally going, I believe I was right around 100 in queue and I got my Mays around about an hour and a half ago (10:30am EST).

I agree 100%, I don’t like the super legends being end game Exclusive rewards......but they do it every year, and like you said, they have flooded the market with stubs so those that get him have no reason to sell him....I was lucky to be in the first 20 orders to get him and he is fantastic, so I get the unrest
-
Agreed. It’s a bummer they put super popular guys like Mays and Chipper behind this extensive (orders-wise) pay walls. I wasn’t bothered by the early flawless rewards being exclusive. Even Wagner, I was bummed I wouldn’t get him but could live without. Mays and Chipper are too popular to have done this way.
Chipper they knew would be popular and if they had been tracking the way stubs are piling up, they had to know Mays would be hard to obtain.

If Chipper and Mays were meant for the average fan/player this year then they wouldn't have made them BR and WS rewards.

I was number 116 for Mays and still haven't got him yet.
-
I'm in the 160s so I'm hopeful I can get him by the end of the week.

wondering if anyone else is seeing this: when I load the Mays page, it's listing the completed orders with timestamp in CST (I am not in that timezone) and the last one sold was supposedly at 8:16PM CST, which right now would be several hours in the future. just wondering if this is seen anywhere else. I tried clearing the browser cache to see if that helped, but no dice

My time zones change almost every time I load the page. I have seen PST, CST, EST, and some time zones I do not even recognize (I am based in CST). I don't think there is a logical explanation on why that happens.

I'm not even paying attention to the hour anymore, but rather the minute it sold. Something really screwy going on with their programming. Couple of times a day I record what time the last sale was, and how many new ones to that point. It's like their time zones are running backwards. I had a recorded time of
9:32 E, but now it's showing 10:32 C. There aren't any other :32 sales in that time frame, but it's impossible for 9:32 E to be 10:32 C. It's why I'm now just looking at what minute it sold. -
Doesn't exactly answer the OP, but I put an order in for 99 Billy Wagner on 10/6. Was 64th in line. Took until 11/8 to get him. Mays should move faster. Chipper likely not as fast.

Hey all... I just picked up my Mays order about an hour ago. Took 8 days. I was about #168 (11/2/20 6:18pm est). Figure your guys waiting would want an update. Good luck!

Awesome news for you. Got my days mixed up, and didn't get mine in until 6:44. That puts me at 341. Enjoy Mays; can't wait to get him.
