DH and pitcher handedness in 21!

Bring on the DH in DD and bring back pitcher handedness!! It will make one sided cards useful again and a better gaming experience!

Only if you stick with the same 25 man roster. No way should you be able to roster a full team of 125/125 lefties vs a righty or vice versa
Example, I’d start Mondesi vs a lefty but he’d have to be on the bench vs a righty. He has to be in your roster either way

I think the current system is better than we had in 16 with handedness. I'm also against DH, with the amount of quality hitting cards kicking about I think managing the bench is a fun part of the game that would either disappear or change drastically.

Just no. I agree you should be able to make adjustments to your lineup when you know who the pitcher is, but it would be an automatic forfeit if you quit out at that point. You have to play who you brung.
In theory this would work, and it makes sense since it's realistic. But this was the way that it actually was a few years back. No one makes adjustments; they just back out if it's a lefty.

Many think adding the DH will make the bench useless, but if you bring back pitcher handedness, everyone will still use the bench in platoon situations. It will make many cards useable again.
Seriously how many one sided cards come out that don’t even get used at all?!?! This........at least for me, will make more cards useable!! If you’re opponent backs out, he gets the L!! Easy solution!!

They'd have to eliminate the lineup screen entirely if they made that move. Here's what I could do if they don't change that too:
- Make a vs RHP lineup full of lefty hitters, designed to kill RHP.
- If I get to the lineup screen, and the computer wants to use my vs LHP lineup, I simply back out from the lineup screen.
Love the idea, but they'd HAVE TO remove our ability to adjust lineups during pregame.

That's why it needs to be a forfeit at that point. Back then they could just quit, and the game wouldn't count.

Can't make it a forfeit because some people back out now due to the way you can tell if you're home or away. Most people will do that so they have to deal with potential lag.
