You can practice hitting the baseball. That way you wont have to settle for bunt singles, assuming you are playing a noob that dont know how to stop those, instead you could use guys like Honus, Cobb and Brock to hit tanks and extra base hits.

For a relatively cheap option, I had good luck with SS Lofton. He has a surprisingly good bat swinging away against pinched infields, too, not to mention that defense. He’s robbed a few HR for me.

I have Lou Honus and Mondesi as my first 3 batters. I don’t bunt cause they can all hit well but it’s always there as an option to mess with my opponents head.

I like to start off the game bunting heavily. They will then put the 2nd & 3rd basemen “in”. At that point just contact swing & you’ll get a ton of singles by the fielders that are out of position.

This is the same guy along with OP @Thierry007007 who came the defense of a guy naming his team the Mississippi Homophobes, so why am I not one bit surprised they cheese their way to some runs in this game?!?!

Absolute gold this thread.Are you really going to blame me for combatting cheesers? Everybody knows you need to cheese in order to win games. The game does not favour people playing by the book.

Well, there's nothing easier than to shut down a bunt game. Hopefully we match up some day so I can demonstrate and make you ragequit by the 5th
