Tips for Kiermier momemnt?

Not great at the game but never struggled with a moment like this. Even Directional hitting on a veteran moment that requires a double and single shouldnt be this hard for me

My only tip is stay at it. May take you a few times since the CPU likes to troll and not throw any hittable pitches.
I got lucky and was gifted a couple hanging breaking balls so I got through it after 6-7 tries.
May take a little time to get those good pitches and get his swing down.

Just completed that one this morning. I went Directional, normal swing, up on the stick to influence a fly ball for the XBH. Facing Kershaw so try to lay off the curve and slider and wait for a hittable fastball. Later in the game CPU brought in Jansen so I switched to zone and hit a single. Not much of a tip I'm afraid, just have to wait it out until you get something hittable.

Use directional. Look to hit fastballs into left, and pull breaking balls. You have to take pitches and get yourself in hitters counts.

Use zone and place PCI at the bottom part of the strike zone.

i was lucky enough to do it first try. I got two fastballs down the middle on the first pitch. I must've gotten all of your luck

I did it on first try by using directional and up to right. People believe that because it's veteran that you should swing at most pitches. Just wait on pitches in the middle of the plate.

I actually had better luck with this one than I have had with the Mookie moment. I cant get a xb hit or a hit. I get one but never both. With Kiermier I hit 2 bombs but cant do [censored] on with a diamond Mookie.

With Mookie I used directional and did not aim anywhere just swung and waited on a pitch down the middle

Best tip is to to quit the moment and spend 300$ on packs. You're welcome.

hold up on joystick with directional and wait on a decent pitch

Honestly, just keep trying. I hated this one too and tried everything......zone, directional, zoom, strikezone, etc.......ended up hitting two home runs using directional and strikezone view. But it was awful. Good luck.
