This game is far from simulation baseball.

Homerun or nothing, high sinker, and ground into double play. That sums up this so called sim baseball game. Content is great but the gameplay needs a complete overhaul.

True that. Too much routine plays in the outfield. The ball floats in the air right to an outfielder.

Gameplay is garbage a lot of the time.

Home run or nothing is simulation baseball though, I don't know about the WS or CS because I stopped following it as close, but in the DS and WC, (in rl) every team that out homered their opponent won.

The postseason is a bit of a small sample size.
The last full regular season (2019) the top "Guillen Number" leaders were just over 50%.
Yes more runs are generated via HRs in real life than other recent years, but not to the extent seen in this game.
With this game, it seems pretty rare to have a 9 inning game where half of the runs are scored without HRs.

At Shippett, that is absolutely true, but I myself don't actually hit all that many home runs as I prefer to play in different parks, I know I'm probably not the best example, but I def score less then 50% of my runs from the home run.
For the elite, they probably score like 70% on the home run
