One thing you can do is invite 6 people to fill out all 8 slots, then boot those 6, leaving just your pal you want to play the WS with and 6 cpu teams.
Not ideal, but it can be ghetto rigged like that

True. So, how would we get to the WS? Would we just kick the people off, then sim to the WS?
