It really would but I think that would be cool so that he is not on the Market like Chipper and you really have to earn him and not just put up a million stub buy order as fast as you can

I think the fall team affinity will be “all time greats.” or “postseason heroes” So I expect to see Griffey, Mays, Morgan, etc released there

I like the idea, but isn't that what stage three was? Just not THE BEST cards, as those would come somewhere else.

During the 7th inning stretch of Game 7 of the WS, a white limo will be carried in via a CH-53 and lowered over centerfield.
Then a flyover by 6 F/A-18s Hornets and 12 AH-64 Apaches, then a 45 minute fireworks display, prior to Griffey Jr. emerging along with over 1,000 doves behind him while "Fergalicious" is boomed from the stadium PA system.
He will then announce that his 99 card in MLB TS 20 will require you to find one of 5,271 golden tickets hidden in Ken Griffey Jr. Bars.

Griffey will almost assuredly be a player program; similar to Babe in my opinion. The reason for this is there is a Griffey banner yet to be revealed, and unlockable banners so far this year have come from either inning bosses or player programs. Last year Griffey was an inning boss and they have not yet repeated any inning bosses this year, so the safe bet is a player program.

Stage three seemed to me like “really good, but not the best” of the franchise.
IE: For Mariners, Griffey (and Edgar) were better than Buhner
For Braves, Glavine was better than Smoltz
For Giants, Mays was better than Maricial
For Phillies...No one was better than Schmidt, so who knows.
I just think there’s a reason we still haven’t gotten some really big cards yet, so I think they’re being held back for Stage 4 -

I say they release a Mike Schmidt with a mustache and boost him up... The stache plays...
Also Phillies could release a Lenny Dykstra, John Kruk, Mitch williams... I mean the list of characters goes on and on with that team... There's also Chase Utley and Steve Carlton... On a more serious note.

I love Jr. and all but his 98 card would suffice if the loons pack up for this card like ole Chips
