Turn Off Online Only

The original thought was for inning stars. Adding an offline stat mission or two wouldn't harm anyone. As it is now, offline players have a harder time getting many of the higher rewards. Online get up to 10 more stars a day.

I disagree and here is why
DD is a 2 tier game mode of offline and online modes. To turn off online mission or requirements then you are taking away from one of the aspects of the mode.
I have said this before numerous time that if you are only going to play half the mode you only will get half of the experience. Now before we all get into a debate about well that's not fair and this and that. Let's look at the one example where SDS themselves did all offline mission MLB 18. It didnt work because those who wanted to play online where not reward or where put at a disadvantage because it was easier to just bring on Rookie for the best cards it create a notice unbalanced approach to rewards and play style. As well MLB 18 is consider the worst version in the series and yet we still have calls to go back to a format like that
DD is and will always be online and offline if you are choosing to only play 1 way then you are limiting your options and what you are eligible to either complete or obtain.
Solid points but sometimes it is not a matter of choice. I play on a 46 inch TV that is 10 years old. Picture is great but the screen lag makes it impossible to play online. I have a better chance hitting the ball blindfolded online. Offline it is not a huge hinderance. Yes I know I could buy a monitor, but should I need to invest several hundred dollars to play a 60 dollar game? My internet is solid, but I know having a good connection can be an issue for a lot of people. So even if people want to play online, they might not have the technology to make it a successful experience.

Agreed. I’ve been saying for a while now especially for programs mix in more grind type stuff like the monthly awards has as an option instead of all moments. I am so so so tired of moments by now. Every program is basically the same moments and some like the Ripken have literally the same accomplishment 2 or 3 times in the same program. Setting aside how awful the moments themselves are, by this point in the year they are so repetitive. For example, even though the Votto one was very easy I hated every second of it because I’m just so tired of moments by now.

I feel you 100%. I would love a program for each team that takes you forever but as you grind it out you unlock different cards for that team

They could make the online stats and offline stats since it is a two mode game. They could double or Triple the stats you need for Offline, Not everyone is good playing online before you say get good or get a monitor, I should not have to buy a new monitor to be good at the game. For someone who is good online they can knock out those stats in a day or so, for someone who is not good, it is not worth the time takes forever. SDS could have a balance that works for everyone.

Ok so in response to other who had responded to my comments
I am not saying get good or buy a monitor so you can play better online that's just non sense. That said I do not agree that SDS should cow tale to a segment of the player base that does not play online to give the either more options to aquire rewards or differnt rewards available to just offline play. Because remember there is always a cause and affect you add more offline stuff SDS is going to give more online stuff that is just a simple fact.
DD has 2 parts online and offline if you are in anyway not going to play online then you are missing out on half of the experience it's that simple and how easily it's broken down.
