Collect 9th inning bosses
-
For those that don’t generally collect all 3 bosses, anyone else thinking that this might have to be the inning to break the streak?
I generally find that each inning I have 1 definite, 1 maybe, and 1 eh (which I think is maybe the intent from SDS in the vein of versatility), so I’ve never had more than 2 bosses from 1 inning. This 9th inning program though might break that streak where all 3 seem excellent and would fit into lineup immediately.
I’d think Wagner would go to 2nd and replace Hornsby, Foxx at C over posey, and of course Jensen at CP.
If targeting all 3, when would you buy the other 2? Just a few days before 10th inning?

Try out your biggest need first I guess. Kenley will good maybe better than Mo.
The other two you gotta feel their swings out. I crush with Ruth but I can’t hit with Awards Trout (how??? .225 not kidding) so swings are very personal I guess.
Honus looks great and can play everywhere but I have JRoll, Tatis, and Jose Ramirez 99 who I rake with so where does he go?
I use CAP at C and Ruth at 1st and only need to finish conquest for Gehrig.
That being said, not everyone has the cards I do and all three of these are end game so I don’t know that they will be cheap at any point... People that didn’t take Mo will keep Kenley, people that don’t wanna do Ruth or Gehrig will keep Foxx and Honus is Honus so...
Sorry, I know that’s not too helpful but I’m trying to figure it out as well.

Potentially the best inning of the year, which had been the 5th inning. I want all 3. Foxx first, gonna plug him in at 3rd. Then Jansen and then Honus. Wagner looks great but not sure he can crack my lineup. Would be an amazing and versatile bench player.
I got all 3 in the 6th inning (regret JRoll) and I see that happening again. Can not wait to play with Foxx, who is one of my favorite historical players.

Def getting all 3!!

I don’t believe these will drop under 100k at any point. I’m choosing Foxx and probably waiting for them to drop to 130 or 140k. They probably bottom out at 120k

The last group barely dipped below $120K. I think $150 will be closer to their floor as everyone will want these guys so less should be available for sale.

I think program stars will be more readily available for this one though with there being 2 player programs off the rip

The lowest the 8th inning bosses went was about 120k though, no? These three won’t drop that far.

Yeah, I sold Cobb as soon as I picked him up and only saw his price rise for a bit yesterday pre-sale, so hoping that 150k is about the floor. I can comfortably pick up the other 2 at that point, though it does seem a little excessive to do that for a CP.

I think I'm the only one who was kinda let down. Not complaining, but the bosses really didn't get me excited. Honus is a good card, but I don't really want to use him. So it is between Foxx and Jansen.
I really like Pudge behind the plate, last inning I collected the 3 and they are in my lineup. So Foxx would have to play 1B. My pen is pretty solid, don't know if I need Jansen. Foxx is probably my pick. I actually like the henchmen better, bought Kimbrel and Finley last night, will take Vida at 150.
Again, not trying to be a Debbie Downer, but this is the first inning where I'm having a hard time picking one.
