Eric Gagne King of Blown Leads

Everytime I bring him up in the 9th to save a game I hang a lot of his offspeed pitches. OMG, I’m seriously considering dropping him out of my pen!
-
Same I have no idea why. The 92 was very good but his 98 just does not seem very great. Don’t know who I would put in instead tho
-
Same. Had to give Rollie Fingers his closing job back for the 10th time this year.
-
Wow. Gagne singlehandedly dragged my team through the Ruth moments.
-
OP card if you can't use it you may be better off playing something else.

Is this your alt account or you really don't like this game?

Had to take Gagne out of my pen, couldn’t control anything with him
-
He’s great for me. One of the few I trust in a clutch situation. You have to throw his off speed stuff real low. Aim at the catchers heel

Playing against the CPU or against online opponents is a huge difference though. Against the CPU only the attributes really matter, which Gagne obviously has plenty. Online that doesn't mean anything and in my opinion Gagne always gets hit hard as well. He's not that tough to pick up on and a lot of his offspeed has the same speed and hangs a lot.
-
Same for me. His older card was solid for me. Last two years he has been great for me. This 98 card either can’t locate no matter how well I execute the pitch or he just gets lit up. Happy they dropped so more relievers in the past few weeks so I could finally retire that card.
-
He sounds like the Tigers' bullpen.
But I play against CPU, so he could perform better in offline modes.
-
His fastball also curves out so have to account for that as well
-
Yeah Gagne got the boot for my team as well

vs CPU and vs HUMAN is two VERY different things.
I could win vs CPU with a common pitcher yet get my tuchas kicked with a diamond pitcher vs a real opponent.
Apples and oranges.
-
He's been solid for me. Fingers is my guy though. 40 innings online with only 2 ER allowed.

I've always thought Gagne was pretty easy to read. I'd initially thought one of those you were talking about might have been against me, but it was actually someone right after we played. I actually used to use him but sold him a while back after getting lit up pretty consistently.
You pitch really well, by the way. That was a fun game.
-
Same here 0 and 4 now with 5 blown saves COMPLETE HOT GARBAGE...............
-
I really like him and he also closed out 90% of my Ruth games flawlessly
and online he's been good for me too -
I can’t time his release worth a [censored] but I do ok anyways with him. I love seeing him on the mound when I’m hitting now though. He’s like Kluber for me I used to be completely lost trying to hit him and now that I’ve had 1,000 at bats against him I’m getting out on perfect/perfect line outs and warning track fly balls instead of striking out

I’m sure. I just remember during the Ruth moments on HOF the computer was forcing A LOT of floating pitches in the zone and Gagne and later Seaver were the two I didn’t have that happen with.
