I mean, my prestige Mantle has a bit worse in stats than the Prime Mantle, but the Prime Mantle faced worse pitching early and played in the moonshot events, so I'm not shocked that I've done slightly worse with the prestige.

I don't really like Mantle at all if I'm being honest. I had him prestige pretty early on and my numbers with him are pretty good, and yet I always feel like I'm terrible with him when he's up. His swing is kinda slow and his bat has a weird swing path due to his stance, but like I said his numbers somehow are still good. I might bench him when Griffey or Mays arrives, not even kidding. Couldn't care less about the switch hitting.

He seems to crush the most random of pitches to me. Low and away fastball? Moonshot to left. Fastball right down the middle? Flyout to center.

What this guy says....I played almost all AS with the regular card, almost all HOF with prestige. Big difference in stats

Larry Walker was like that for me, struggled with his prestige after raking with his SS. Go figure.

Mantles been a monster for me. Batting over .400 for me online. Cobb on the other hand I'm terrible with

Well I'm batting over .400 with Mantle online as well. Like I said, the numbers are fine. He just seems to fold at the moments it matters and goes off with solo shots in a game that's already a blow out. Like I said, his swing is not a confidence booster for me during an important at bat. I'd much rather have Trout at the plate, who's swing I love.
