20-20 vs Pearson with 9 outs left, no confidence and no energy. He doesn't walk anyone else and dots the corners, and even when I do hit a perfect/perfect, it's an out.
(Oh and I looked at the check swing called percentage, 53%!, tell me how much you see that in ranked? YOU DON'T.)
Not worth the stress, don't even need the players.

I beat Showdown on second attempt at Pearson with 12 or 14 outs left.....Glad that is over, now off to Conquest which should be much easier, just time consuming

I won’t be doing the entire thing. Babe or Musial are just as good as Lou. I’ll get the Yelich card but that’s it. SDS really screwed up the rewards for extreme this year.

I have to disagree on that. I think these rewards are spot on. If SDS put anyone like mays, Griffey, foxx, etc. behind the Extreme program, there would have been an uprising. I bet the vast majority of us won’t complete the full program, so I’m glad the rewards are basically just fun luxury cards (not to mention an enormous amount of XP, stubs, and packs). I think they did more or less the same thing last year with Edmonds and Miller, but this year is even more loaded with bonuses along the way. I think they struck a really good balance when they made Babe — the card almost everybody would want — the reward to a challenging-but-still-very-doable program.

I managed to beat showdown on my first attempt and just finished conquest after way too many hours. Just from doing those two I got rare beach ball, rare hrd, live series Scherzer and Belli. So that’s Yelich, Pearson, and over 350k stubs, definitely worth it.

I agree in a vacuum, the stubs and cards you get are worth it, but I have 4.3m stubs, I'm probably not going to be able to spend it all before the next game comes out, so 350k stubs isn't something that is very valuable to me based on the time it will take.
