A little bit of both I suppose. Probably more on the "hit well in general" side.

Basically, you want to play the current event.

Most viable speed cards I'm seeing in this thread exceed the super low power threshold in the Dead Ball I event. Most "good" speed cards have closer to 70-75 power. I absolutely have not had fun with the current in-game event, although that might be partially because it also has a 90 ovr requirement.
