Load Steps In Hitting (Kyle Lewis 92)
-
Hello. I hope you're all doing well. Lately, after every game I play on The Show, I've been watching replays of all my hits from the replay vault. I hit a home run with Kyle Lewis' new 92 card and noticed that Lewis has an enormous load step before his hands come forward.
I know that all kinds of hitters will raise their load step at different times according to timing matched in the pitcher's wind up, and according to the size, shape and speed of their load step.
Has anyone on the forum watched enough replays of their hits to find out how the specific load step designs might be able to hint to the more successful hitters on Diamond Dynasty rosters?
Any help or discussion would be appreciated! When I was playing in high school years ago, load steps either weren't a trend yet in standard baseball training, or our coaches specifically never taught them in those days. So, I admittedly don't know a whole lot about them.
