I use Paxton quite a bit and love him. I haven’t seen any of the issues that the OP has mentioned. I play on the higher levels so maybe it has got to do with All Star hell but he is my go to lefty in a pinch.

Prestige Paxton is in my rotation. Probably my number 3 or 4 starter.

I used him for a spot start on HOF and came away extremely impressed only 5ks but a CG 1 hitter almost makes me consider using him more

His prestige has a 99 velo which is a huge plus. The thing is if you hang his curveball he’ll be very easy to get bang.

I'm still using Paxton to get him prestiged. He has his good games and his bad games. Not a top-tier starter, but a serviceable free lefty starter.

I still use him as my #2 or #3 lefty. But I did just splurge on Sale and he is worth every stub

Prestige Paxton is probably my most dominant SP. I’ve used him on AS and HOF and he’s been great. Utilize the cutter. As long as you locate it, it’s nasty.

I'm using him, trying to get to the "extra prestige" level, and I do get hit pretty hard in RS All-Star. I do have success in the BR dead-ball event, though.

Thats because every semi-usable card in that event is only good against righties. Every Paxton, Leiter, or Kershaw matchup I get in there goes to extras 0-0.

I took Paxton 7 innings in one of those marathon games. I didn't care if I won (which I certainly DID NOT). I just wanted the innings
