How long is your trial period with a new hitter/pitcher before you settle the swing just doesn’t work for you?

I always take a new player for a spin offline prior to using him competitively online just to get familiar with swing/pitches

It depends, sometimes I am really stubborn about keeping a player. For example, I was determined to use the Tops Now Kike Hernandez and he stunk for me online and against the CPU. I finally replaced him with Bo Bichette at 2nd!

Usually 100-150AB but I’ve not had as much time this year overall. I’ve dumped a few cards after 50-60 recently. Frank Thomas was one of them. He’s always been my 1B in years past, but his slow swing and a bunch of newer options have finally exhausted my patience with the big hurt. On the pitching side, I’ll usually know after a game or two at most if like a pitcher. Sometimes within a half inning.
