Cant handle being away team.. I get it now.

In the last week out of absolutely nowhere i can no longer play away games... Every fast ball looks like a tomahawk missile coming at you. I dont know why. Nothing changed on my end internet or connection wise. But I cant take it. But as the home team im forced to take advantage of this happening to someone else half the time. It goes both ways and thats just wrong. Flat out.

It I have experienced severe latency as you speak of while being the home team too, and I am hardwired. Certain games the exact same pitcher on the exact same difficulty have what looks either like true all-star all the way to legend while being all on the same difficulty level. Also online in general has a huge variation of speed from offline. Offline legend is easier to read than online hof. I’m not that technically versed but the p2p aspect I have heard discussed could be part of the problem.
When user input that has to be accurate to a millisecond from one user to the next, pitching, hitting. It’s fairly impressive it works at all in real time so I’ll take what I can get. But they need to take a good hard look at the effect latency is having in pitch speeds. You get a game where 95 looks like 115 and you basically know your fudged from the start

Yep, as I was near 800 RS again tonight ( been 798 3x and can’t get over the hump) I decided to play a game after getting Tatis...went in and warmed up on offline legendary, a few perfect perfect homers, felt ready....
Opponent thru Seaver and his fastball made Dibble’s look like a change up...I knew I was screwed immediately.

I actually find it the opposite. When you are home team you cannot tell pre game if you are matched with someone with a crappy connection. It will always feel smooth. So if you are, your game will slow down to match their connection. And it sucks.
