How do you feel about opponents that make you watch replays after every HR they hit against you? I personally never make my opponent watch the replay unless they did it to me lol
-
If its a legit HR, no problem. If it’s a wallscraper, bush league
-
It is usually a toxic player trying to get under your skin. Lots of immature jerks online.
I don’t watch mine unless someone has been acting like a [censored], but I am happy to replay an opponents if they hit a special one.
-
I’m more likely to watch someone else’s over my own
-
It really doesn't bother me. I will replay a hr for someone if it was a moonshot. Also if the hit a good pitch out. I think its kind of a patt on the back. Basically saying good job
-
I usually only watch my HR if the other player is being toxic or if its a clutch no doubter in the 8th or 9th. If my opponent watches a no doubter it doesn't bother me but as someone else said if its a wall scraper don't be an [censored]
-
Who cares. If it’s a bomb, good for him watching it. If it’s a 370 foot pop fly and he insists on the replay, then he’s either got some issues or is trying to get you to tilt.
I hit one over the grandstand at Shibe with Posey on a hanger (second of the game, didn’t replay the first) and replayed it because of its majesty. Dude then goes into full slowdown mode, step off, taking max time between pitches. I don’t get why it’s taken as such an affront. Later in the game after his tears dried up, I hit another bomb off sig Chapman with Walker though it never really happened because he dashboarded lol. -

I have no idea who the first person was to reference another gamer as "toxic" but I can't help but to laugh every time I see this used in this forum by grown men.
What ever happened to just saying someone was being an A$$???

It’s pretty simple man, a toxic gamer is out to poison the experience of all other players. Not to hard to figure out. But yes, your word is appropriate too.
-
Irrelevant as far as I'm concerned. It's about 10 seconds. If you do watch them I just assume you don't hit many and want to bask in your glory, in which case have at it. I've seen just about every home run in the game at this point so I don't watch any. I will pause and check the replay if something weird happens though.
-
Watching a HR replay isn't someone poisoning his opponents gaming experience IMO. It's in the game to be enjoyed.
I'll replay just about every No Doubter with the purpose of enjoying the game.

There is a major difference between replaying a no doubter ( as I said earlier, I hit replay for my opponent before they have a chance when they blast one off me or outsmart me in a big situation) and the guys who replay every home run , and accompany it with bunt dancing during windups, Long pauses, take the huge leads trying to bait the errant throw...the toxic players do all of these things in the same game.
I find more guys who watch home runs fall in the latter category, not the former.
-
I will watch the full walk off moment especially if they brought in Chapman or a top reliever. I do like hunter’s no doubt bat throw thought
-
I just find it sad when they replay a HR that when the game forces my CU or curve or whatever over the middle of the strikezone for. I am like, "dude, I called that HR before you even swang, you didnt make a good hit or anything the game just gave it to you." It is different if you got one on a good pitch or something and made a great swing, not impressive when I hit my marks and the game hangs it for you to just hit X or square and watch it fly.
-
Only times I don’t care if it’s is a monster 500ft shot, or one by some really weak dude that has no business hitting one. I hit back to back 500ft homers and my opponent replayed both for me. I think just to see how far they went.

I only replay the clutch home runs
-
you know when it's bullying and when it's not...the replay button is there, so it's not like they're doing something illegal.
-
Lately I've responded by showing him a replay of his swinging strike three in the dirt.
-
It takes long enough to play a RS game as it is. You watch it, I plunk the next guy. I never watch mine. I saw it go out when I hit it. I suck and lose most games anyway. Also frustrating when someone wants to watch every [censored] cut scene too.

Thank you!
The catch phrases used in this game by top guys on YT etc to me all sounds the same.

Lets goooo, Toxic, perfect perfect, lets go baby"over
