I just put two and two together here. This is the guy that lost and was supposed to skip town right? He probably blocked you.

The hitting is fine. I would even say hitting is good besides the BS line outs on a perfect perfect. Fielding is also not bad besides the outfielders taking too long to throw the ball. But pitching takes the cake as the buggiest glaring issue. It should NOT happen that repeated “Good” timed change ups and curves are 95% hangers. This needs to be addressed! Pitching is half the game it can’t be this broken and random
If you started getting proper results pitching you would start complaining that the hitting is broken and around we go.
That doesn't even make any sense.
Hitting is already broken by allowing poor timing/contact being rewarded for hits on an excessive level. Check swinging feature is broken as well. We should get proper results for pitching based on user input.
Besides, since when do players in MLB consistently hit .400 BA or above throughout the entire season? Nobody. I think Ted Williams was last person to do it back in 1941 if I'm not mistaken. But you find them everywhere across the WS leaderboard largely due to poor pitch accuracy this game has to offer. This is also evident by the poor ERA across WS leaderboard compared to real MLB ERA's.

You cant compare real life numbers to video game numbers. Also the guys at the top would have high averages even without pitches being forced in thr zone. They are all just elite dominant hitters and worry less about pitching and more about outscoring their opponent.

You can't compare real life numbers to video game numbers says who? You? LOL. Isn't that how player card attributes are determined?....based on their real numbers?
I can guarantee you that BA would be effected if there weren't so many pitches forced over the middle of the plate. The difference is that the elite hitters are better at it than everybody else. I'm able to hit pitches for HR's over the middle of the plate too, but not at the level these other guys are doing it.

Yes thats how they get the attributes but honestly if you think comparing video game numbers to real life numbers is a thing you aren't very smart. Also you clearly haven't played anyone thats extremely good because those guys will crush anything that even touches the zone and take anything thats just outside of it. Again, the top players would still have high averages regardless of whether pitch location was perfect. There is a reason people use the phrase "he's putting up video game numbers"

I strictly play RS and have peaked at 836, but average in the 700's. So I've played against plenty of good hitters and players at the WS level, as they still have to go through 700-800 rankings to make it back to WS when season ends.
You're the one who has clearly not played anybody good being that you're predominantly a CPU player who plays probably on Rookie level, who has only dabbed a little bit in RS and BR, and yet here you are talking trash, I find that hilarious.

I'm not disputing the fact that top players would not have high batting averages if pitch accuracy wasn't an issue. What I'm saying is that I believe players would like consistency in gameplay that is realistic and comparable to real life baseball where the user has control and not the game controlling it. In other words, I believe people would much rather be beat by pitches that they had control over than to be beat by pitches that they had no control over, such as pitches that get forced over the middle of the plate. And pitching is just one aspect. There's fielding, hitting (check-swingin), and baserunning issues as well.
Without going in depth with each topic, I'll just use baserunning as an example. I can't tell you how many times I've had runners on base (let's say runners on 1st and 2nd), and then I hit a gapper or even at times a hit off the wall, regardless, it's an obvious base hit, and my lead runner is just standing there clueless despite me hitting L1 and there's a long enough delay before he advances. So instead of scoring (just like in real life), he's standing on 3rd. Or a linedrive that gets hit between infielders, and he dives back to 2nd base unnecessarily on its own instead of automatically advancing, you're telling me that you're ok with that? LOL, ok.

I'm saying that if they fixed pitch accuracy where we were able to hit corner strikes more consistently instead of it hanging or going right down the middle of the plate, then the top players BA probably wouldn't be as high as they are. I'm not disputing that they wouldn't still be high, but more than likely not as high as they are currently. And we probably wouldn't see as many BA in the 400's, not to say that there wouldn't be any, just not as much.

Rebel hit .400 overall in 17 which had “better pitching”
Just sayin the guy is right, the best players are going to have high averages no matter what pitching is, to say you can’t compare real life to a video game is 100% correct, it will always be easier to hit video game pitching than real life pitching

I really don't care what rebel hit in 17, 18, 19, or this year even. I just care about pitch accuracy getting fixed. Everything else is a matter of opinion.

LOL, You meant to say that you're not very smart.
I have nothing to prove to you so all I'm gonna say is you've done nothing to prove how video game numbers are supposed to mimic real life numbers. Video games are easier than real life.
LOL, ok.
Not sure where you are pulling any of this from. My original argument was that video game stats of players aren't comparable to real life stats. Nowhere did i say gameplay is perfect.
So what your saying is there was no point to come at me with an argument? Pitching needs to be fixed agreed, top guys will still have high averages agreed. If pitching is fixed there average will maybe drop .010-.015 points and they will rip less home runs. Still gonna be higher than real life numbers which is strictly what my original argument was about.

It’s not really opinion but go off lol
Great players are always going to hit no matter what pitching is
