My Thoughts on the Dead Ball Event

I don’t mind the event itself, I just can’t pick up the ball off the pitcher

For those of you who love power and play at Shippett, sit this one out, just like others have sat out the Moonshot and what not.

For me, I could go either way. I may play this Event a lot and I may not play it much, but I think it’s cool that SDS is honoring this era by including it in the game.

You might have a point if this game actually played right. There just isn't enough ball trajectory variations to make this fun or realistic. Contact hitters irl could slap balls around all day. This game however it's nothing but floaters to the outfield or get in on the bunt cheese.

Worst event ever especially considering the way this game plays.

The extra velocity Maddux and Kershaw will get from being prestiged will still not make this worth it but it’ll be nice to have.

I find HOF better for hitting for me than all star. So far, I've really liked this, although I can see getting burned out quickly as well.

I feel you. I only bunt with pitchers when I’m trying to sacrifice. But I’ve played four games so far and me nor any of my opponents have attempted a bunt yet. That’s a good sign.

But also, is it really considered “cheese” for this event? If/when my opponent bunts in this event, I won’t be as irritated as when they do it in Ranked.
