Small sample size, but I really feel like catcher defense is improved this year.

I can tell a difference from having Posada back there and Pudge, Pudge lets nothing by him. One of the things SDS did nail this year. Now if Pudge wouldn't swing a noodle....

It's almost worth the wet noodle for that D, I'm kinda torn between him and Weiters who I've ran most of the year. Pudge should be a lot better hof+ but its gonna take practicing his swing probably.

Yeah, I have Piazza and man he can rake, but [censored] if teams can’t totally exploit him....now if I stick FS Bart or Wieters back there, or even Prestige Biggio, , surprisingly, can pretty much shut down anything.

Ability to block pitches is the only thing SDS improved this year imo as far as online gameplay. Last year, ability to block pitches was non-existant and just a disaster overall. I mean, they couldn't even block pitches that little leaguers could have made. Thank goodness they fixed it this year.
Now if they would only give attention and improve both pitch accuracy and excessive hits rewarded off of poor timing/pci. Both of these problems existed last year and has rolled over to this year.

I'd argue perfect/perfect was an improvement over 19 hitting, but yeah besides that not too much improvement to speak of.

They really did get catcher blocking right this year, I'll give them that
