I am good at Showdown, no I am very good at Showdown.
I usually win 4 out of every 5 Showdowns.
But lately Showdown feels more like a chore or a job than a game.

Whether it is the nerfed power, the game not playing at the indicated level (no way some of these showdown moments are Rookie or Veteran), the insane fielding prowess of the CPU and the predictable, back breaking double play ground ball at the worst possible time.
The joy of Showdown has worn off.

Last inning was a struggle for me but that was because I have never been able to pick up the ball out of Walter Johnson's hand.

The showdowns are challenging but the moments that lead up to it are too tedious. Last inning there were 10 moments plus a "mini" showdown before getting to the boss, that is far too many.
It should be 5 moments plus a mini boss max. Make each one worth 3 runs that way the moments add up to 15 runs.

I played the new showdown, but my heart is just not in it. The second mini boss adds something to the mode, but are you willing to risk an hour of tedious moments for 2 more diamonds? Especially when showdowns are unpredictable at best.

The mode in theory is fun, but we need something to make it less tedious and bring the fun back to the mode.

Yeah, I have had less fun with it as the year goes along, I really enjoyed it during team affinity 2, but that feeling has gradually worn down to where I just "do" the inning one to get stars, I don't really enjoy it.

The 8th inning show down was super easy compared to the 7th.

Perks shouldn't be necessary, if we're playing a moment on rookie.

    Is it really rookie?
    Sure doesn't feel like it.

I’ve always been able to bat them I just hate them. Only doing inning showdowns and maybe some TA ones once TA4 comes out

I have not touched TA3 and no way will I touch TA4 or the dreaded Showdown Extreme.

I would love to see SDS's data on Showdown regarding time spent on the mode as the year goes on. I know we will never see that data, but I am a numbers geek so it would be cool.

I just hope showdown extreme isn’t too hard...that could come out any minute lol. I’m looking mid late September

I didn’t, wasn’t worth it for 2 golds. I just outright beat up Kershaw. Still isn’t fun lol

My only hope is that it is every Red Sox card you want....MVP Mookie and SS Jimmy Foxx.
The reaction would be priceless 😉

Ian Anderson was easy, as long as you loaded up on switch hitters or righties with good power against RHP...

I didn’t care for it, only needed 5 runs against Kershaw. I would have tried it if I was very confident and needed help. I like that they are doing this now tho

I play a lot for the rewards. 5 or 6 regular packs, 1 gold pack, 2 BIAH, and 2 headliners isn't bad for an hours work when you are an offline player.

    I stranded on ian anderson.
I got to 4-4 and after that all i got where fly balls and balls right in to the shift.
This game is getting worse .
i think they sometimes forget that not every body has time to play 8 or 16 houres a day.
And this game is all about grinding if you want to get the good stuff.

Yep I’m about sick of them, especially after failing at the 8th inning one when I hit the final boss 15-14 and couldn’t get a single run because common fielders were diving into the holes to pick off perfect perfect liners or the fact that it was played at the new Texas (black hole) stadium. Meaning homers go to die on the warning track because the power ally’s are 3 freaking 90. Oh yeah and 3 dp’s just as a nice finger to you.
