12 win rewards in events are meaningless now

I mean with the major taking of LS cards 85-89, going 12-1 in Events is pretty meaningless. 5K card 90% of the time

I forfeit long before then. I get bored using the same team that many games in a row. And events dont mean a thing.
Also, I'll never get more than like 8

It's fine...I wouldn't kid yourself, you know 12 wins an event does not equal 12 wins in BR. Half of your 12 wins will be rage quits/dashboards in the 1st inning. isn't remotely the same competition.

Madbum is like 50k. Went up slightly thanks to stub sale but is continuing to decline. That said, you don't need to hit 12 wins (just makes it faster) to get him so its kind of a moot point as to the topic.
12 wins isn't easy to get, especially since user input seems to have minimal effect on the outcome.
12 win reward should either be any live series card or any diamond 85-89 that is available via standard packs to give it some variety. That way you can maybe at least get a diamond prospect or something worth a bit more.
It also might be an issue with this year where all the low diamonds are minimal cost due to the lack of fluctuations because of a very late start to the season.

when I got to 45 wins he was selling for over 90k. what you want is all the rewards along the program which included a chance at elite DOTP, 2 cards that could sell over 100k combined depending on when you reached 45 wins, plus you want better diamonds. all of this for spending nothing to enter the event. that's petty

I think it would be cool to see a 12-0 reward for events. (Not like the br rewards, but something would be nice) There’s absolutely no incentive for me to play events rn

Yeah they had those back in 17 and the only ones that weren’t ridiculously overprice were the Verlander collection ones. With how often people pump out 12-0 or 12-1 event runs there should be something

That is the only "benefit" of going 12-0 (or 12-1) is that you can obtain rewards faster. But really at the same time, you could also only get 6 wins a ticket and still probably get there around the same time and make the same amount of stubs if you play a lot.
I bought him for 63.5K (I'm only at 22 wins in the event) the day before stub sale just incase. I've had no motivation to continue to playing the event to be honest (think I've got burnout from events from getting to about 75 wins on the last one).
No one is calling event rewards petty, its the 12-0 motivation that is unrewarding. You'd be better off rattling off like 4 to 6 wins, forfeit and rejoin to get matched with lower rated guys for easier wins. Biggest detriment to that method is the fact they don't save your previous event lineup (Seriously SDS....how is this not a thing?)

agreed. the xp gain isnt even worth it, i can just play cpu, have a bunch of big innings on offense and rack up more than i would on events

madbum is an events reward easy to obtain by going 1-2 1-21-21-2
going 12-0 should give something cool on top

Cumulative rewards are different from 12 win rewards. You should definitely get something better for a 12 win card.
And for some unknown reason, you’re actually the one who seems petty...
