Hypothetically lets say you did do it. Why are they giving you that big of a suspension? Especially since this is prolly a first time for you.

- The problem with punishing someone for boosting is that there's no clear consistent application of punishment. Tons of people are boosting. Imagine you are this guy, and BOOM! You cant play for over 3 weeks online? Some people would simply ask their bank to refund all transactions with SDS at that point.
However considering that a consistent punishment would mean bans for tons of people, SDS might want to re-think how they address boosting.
-
Requiring online stats caused this issue in the first place. There's alot of below average players who attempt to play online and after playing several games and not coming close to getting dailies done, let alone those needed for prestige, it results in problems like this. Dashboarding makes it even worse. If you and the other guy agree to let your 3 players in the top of the lineup both homer, at least you know the stats will count. That's not a good place to be and it's just gonna get worse till they figure out how to stop dashboarding or simply add other offline ways to prestige players.

Considering how competitive the gaming market it is for people's times and money, I'd be careful banning people unless its the absolute last resort. SDS isnt just competing to retain and attract players from other sports games/franchises, they are also competing against all those other BR games and some of the upcoming mega releases like Cyber Punk 2020. They've got to retain the current player base as much as possible - even if we are whiny, ungrateful, and complain non-stop.
To quote Monsters Inc. "We scare, because we care" - at least when it comes to this franchise.

Dumb question but exactly how does one go about “boosting” their stats in this manner other than hoping they match with someone they personally know outside of the game so that player allows them to run up the score without quitting? I feel like people usually quit whenever I’m lucky enough to get a 3-4 run lead in the event games...just trying to understand the context of this ban because I’d rather quit myself than risking a multi-week ban after spending a good amount of cash on this game!

And 37 HRs in a game.
And he had the nerve publicly to seek sympathy. Pathetic.

It has to be a game versus a friend who allows it but how long would you sit there for that?

The game has been out for almost 7 mos. Most banks won't refund charges after 90 days.
Plus if you 'challenge' csarges on your PSN account, and PS refunds the money to your bank; that PSN ID is locked and you'll no longer gave access to it.
