I've been using Konerko Affinity card and it's ok. Anyone less than 100K at first you'd recommend.
Killebrew, Thome, or Gorman for cheap first baseman. But Babe is free and he's the best so commit to the grind!

Ruth, Thames, Thome, Thomas, and Stan are all amazing options. I've been running Ruth lately since I unlocked him over the weekend, but I was swapping between Thome, Thames, and Thomas.
If you're on a lower budget, Thome is the answer. If you need a good RH bat, Thomas. If you've reached prestige level and are closing in on the choice pack, Thames.

You should. The All-Star games aren't tough, and the HoF games are a challenge, but a challenge that warrants such good rewards.
