You've likely never worked in a union shop. But, you like to talk about it as if you know.
In union shops you are not allowed to conduct union business, send union emails, texts, etc. during company time. Union meetings are conducted during non-working hours. My dad was a union steward for years with a state agency. It was a disciplinary offense (up to instant firing) to campaign, protest, hang political signs, collect $ for fund raisers, protest, kneel for a candidate, whatever symbolic silliness that was obviously supporting a political ideology on company grounds.

Current AFSCME member, former NEA member. Both actually carve out time for union business. There is also something called a strike that intentionally disrupts regular business. Perhaps you’ve heard of it.
But this is probably good to post when you are losing an argument and have nothing of substance to contribute.
-
Well, you are wrong about AFSCME for sure. Union biz is done during Union time. If it doesn't align with your work schedule you're allowed to take Personal time to attend. So, I'm not going to argue with someone that could very likely not even yet be in the workforce.
But, fact remains..probably no action the Left could have spawned more self-damaging than the "peaceful protests" (AKA riots and racisim). It cost them the election. And, over the next 4 years...you're going to see much more Federal presence and force when these vile acts of terrorism are attempted.
Enuf about politics..how 'bout them Cubs?
-
As far as strikes go...most contracts anymore have "no strike" clauses. Of course, you probably already knew that, huh?
-
Just to clarify... You no longer play the game, but you waste your life — and ours — by trolling these forums to whine about how you couldn’t hold leads so the game must obviously have been out to get you?
I hate you.

I don't believe that. I'm a little too busy with my life to entertain fantasy conspiracy theories involving a video game.
What is your definition of "conspiracy theory"..and then compare it to what lengths a software gaming company would go to market a game.
Especially to market a game to give it the best possible posture. that it is competitive and purchasing additional cards will help you, the customer, be more competitive.
If a sports gaming company isn't able to create an online environment that creates the illusion of competition...it will fail. Who would go online and play a complete stranger KNOWING the code decides the outcome? Rhetorical question.
The vast majority of players don't visit a site like this, so no, creating an "illusion" on this forum doesn't keep the game from "failing"
How in the world can you make that assessment? The vast majority? C'mon you know you pulled that straight out of your
I didn't pull that out of nothing.
Do you see thousands of people posting here? Me neither.
At best there are maybe a couple hundred that post here.
Are you saying there are just thousands upon thousands that just read this forum?

There isn't a need to count, if you hang around here regularly, it's as plain as day that there are maybe a couple hundred.
But if you want to make that claim, go ahead, look even sillier. Claim that there "thousands upon thousands" on this forum.

Nope..I post here in the hopes of offering a voice for the voiceless. The naïve and downtrodden that believe there truly exists competition in this game. They get angry at their selves for not being better. They get depressed...they internalize their losses. Hopefully, it doesn't extend further than that.
But, I hope myself and many out here with similar convictions can paint a true picture of how this game works. You lose because the software dictates it so. You win for the very same reason. Never..ever..fault yourself or abilities for something you have no control of.
Many of us crusade for the oppressed, we do our very best to deliver truth. That's all. I apologize for trying to help people..it's just how I do.

From my union’s current state contract:
“Union Rights
Section 1. Union Activity During Working Hours
Employees shall, after giving appropriate notice to their supervisor(including the location and approximate duration of the meeting), be allowed reasonable time off with pay during working hours to attend grievance hearings, labor/management meetings, negotiations of their own agency and/or facility supplemental agreements, meetings covering modifications of supplemental agreements, committee meetings and activities if such committees have been established by this Contract, or meetings called or agreed to by the Employer, if such employees are entitled or required to attend such meetings by virtue of being Union representatives, stewards, witnesses, or grievants, and if such attendance does not substantially interfere with the Employer's operations.”Good night, troll.

The developers pretty much said this a tiny minority of the game

If you honestly think that the code decides the outcome in this game then why do you play it? NOT a rhetorical question. Seriously guy. If you honestly believe this game has some sort of nefarious comeback logic programmed into the code that completely takes the game out of your hands, then why are you wasting your time playing it (and then wasting even more time whining about it on the forums)?
I don't play it. I quit playing it a couple weeks ago. I feel a responsibility to show solidarity with the others on this forum that like to remind everyone this is an RNG. All the promoting and marketing and talking up the next great challenge, and debating who the best catcher is.....it's all BS.
Just need to keep the coalition of skeptics strong. Otherwise the naïve and young will be brains washed with no opportunity to get the real scoop. It's important.
Exactly what we need... Conspiracy theorits that don't play the game but come post here to b*tch about it...
-
The idea of playing and getting better is obvious... Do anything more and you get better... Just the way our brain works, unless you've mastered it with 10,000 hours of your life.
-
Keep practicing. You'll get better.

You can literally check out anyone who posts here's universal profile. If you think all these guys who have 800+ hours in the game work for SDS, you need to re-evaluate what you think developers do while they are on the clock.
Next.

Who believes that MOST that posts replies suggesting "keep practicing..you'll get better", "use this strategy and your game will elevate", etc. are likely SDS employees or have some vested agenda to keep people immersed in this game?
I would admit there are prob a few out here that truly believe they are really good and hours played made the difference for them. I would not try to discourage this belief. Just like I would not try to discourage a 4-year old from believing in the tooth-fairy or Santa.
My first year playing DD and without practice I would be horrible. The more I practice and play the better I am becoming. So to each it own. Learning to be patient has helped tremendously
