Shippet Stadium Rant (I just want to let go my frustration)

I just hate how little to no movement pitches have there, it’s so easy to hang breaking pitches, I have to throw then tho.
I just lost a game there where I struck my opponent out 14 times. He struck me out only 4. I had more hits than him/her and yet he/she beat me in the 9th.
The only extra base hits I had were two solo shots. Lol, I got so unlucky... everytime I hit the ball was a weak fly or a weak base hit... that’s why I prefer Bayfront and its 6ft altitude. No lucky homeruns there for anybody, not even me. You have to earn it there!

I noticed a general improvement in my play when I stopped using shippett. A lot of the issues still exist (HRs on bad swings, hung pitches on good releases, garbage contact on good timing) but i feel like the results are a bit better all around.

Yeah, I don’t play there unless I’m the away team. That was the case this morning. You can’t throw a slider or a cutter there, let alone a changeup

Date Palm Field best field

Never played there. I’ll try it later today.

Polo grounds nothing like have a Perfect perfect fly ball with Mickey that you know would be gone just to be a deep out

Wait, does that mean that certain stadiums are glitched or something? Or that for some reason, something in the game's code makes the dynamics of this game behave differently in one stadium compared to other stadiums (I already know how Laughing Mountain and Coors are at higher altitude and affect hits accordingly)?

I’ve noticed pitches have little to no movement if you’re playing in a high elevation stadium (Coors, Shipper, Laughing). The opposite on stadiums like Bayfront Park which has a 6ft elevation.
In Shippet breaking pitches barely move, that can lead to a lot of hangers and as a result lot of Homeruns.

It really is a great ballpark. Elevation is just below 1000ft, batters eye is extremely playable during the day and is only an issue for an inning if you start at 7 vs left handers.
Walls are pretty even all the way around the park and it doesn't have deep foul lines.
The park itself looks good, I love the backdrop with the rolling hills and wind turbines. The hotel across the road looks hilarious with what I like to call "toy cars". I've used this park as my home field for 4 consecutive seasons now. 17, 19, 18, and 20. 21 will be the same.

I’ll definetely try it! Thanks

No problem. I always recommend it, whats awesome is I picked this field in 17 because nobody ever really played there. Over the years I've seen the benefits (or lack of in the case of Coors and Shippet), and I've started seeing it quite often.

Really? I've never noticed that it affected pitch movement before, though it isn't too surprising since I mop the floor with the Rockies. I'll have to look a bit more and see next time I play at a high-altitude park.

Wait, you guys are actually getting to play home games? Lol.
I basically have to spend 30 mins trying to queue up a game vs someone who doesn’t back out if I don’t just play away games in ranked.

They need to take out the ability to see road/home in the lineup screen

Ok i had to try it myself...and it happened, faced a gold level player (you can imagine his lineup) and he beat the !#!@ of me, I lost 10-6, none of my pitches were moving like they normally do...for a gold card to hit 2 homers of 99 Kluber there's must be something there...

What’s wrong with being a gold level player?
