I'm starting to think

No finest this year. With all these juiced POTM, topps now, and flashbacks there aren't many options for finest. The fun part about finest was voting for the cards so...maybe we could vote for topps now weekly??? They can obviously leave off some cards that already have a topps now, similar card, or other plans as well. Thoughts?

Topps now are based off the IRL topps now cards so you really can’t vote on them

They can use all of the topps cards from topps' website if they allow them. I doubt it will happen but I'm just throwing it out there

Opposite spectrum. This means Finest are going to be absolutely roided up with trash cans in the dugout.

Skipping Finest would be wildly unpopular.

It would be but I don't see how they can do finest this year. I can think of a bunch of teams without finest options

Last year was the first year they ever did the voting. They could just go back to the previous years when there were just the finest selects

They could but I think a bunch of people liked voting

I liked the voting too for the most part, but too this day I don’t know how Devers got more votes than Betts. I know Devers had a phenomenal season but 90% of the votes were off of name recognition and not who deserved it. The Red Sox were the exception

The advantage of a ‘Finest’ series is that when the game goes F2P in the postseason (as it usually does through PS+) new players just acquiring the game can field a competitive team for a small grind and a few bucks. Finest sets will be back. Do not worry. F2P dollars will be spent.

Last year was the first year MLB went free via PS+ so I dont think Finest is depended on the game going free.
To me Finest returns it's not going away how it returns will be interesting as there is reason to believe it will be via TA4, I think its packs and a collection much like last year.

I think TA 4 brings us finest with a big collection reward
