I know it looks like Jack Morris, but it also looks similar to John Smoltz. Question marks match. Not that we need a 4th Smoltz card, but could it be Smoltz as a closer not a starter???
Smoltz already has a closer card. He won’t get another one. Jack Morris
What was that again?
Say what you want about me being wrong but this is the single dumbest content decision SDS has made all year
I nominate FS that are better than legends in the HOF. As a Braves fan I won't turn this card down but it's definitely overkill. I think it would have made sense if they had never released the 92 Closer Smoltz Card.
I agree. If not for the 92 I have absolutely no problem with this. Since there is the 92 though, when we look back on the end of the season and say why did __________ not get a top card(like Trammell, Newhouser, Betts, Spahn, etc didn’t get last year), this Smoltz would have potentially taken their place. I don’t like that
I think you're just jealous his 4th card is as a Brave and not a Detroit Tigers Smoltz Prospect 81 Gold card. Amirite???
To be fair Smoltz wasn’t a real highly touted prospect when the tigers traded him. Detroit was garbage in the 90s and 2000s anyway so it would have been a waste of a great career
