Where to begin for a new player?

New to this game/series (finally ditching Madden/EA) and just wondering where to start. I'm a bit overwhelmed with everything at the moment. I have no money to buy in game coin/stubs so I have a starter team. So making in game money is my focus I guess.I appreciate any/all help.

Do the Shark Conquest Map. You'll get a ton of stubs playing that.

Cool, can my scrub team hang and is there an instructional manual explaining how conquest works? I looked at the map(didnt see a shark) and not sure what to do. The U.S. map looks bigger are their no good rewards in there?

My team is a 71 and I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to be doing in conquest yet, I guess I'll have to play around with it.

Just look at the goals first. To finish the shark map fully you will have to play 2 games on all star which is doable. If you can’t just focus on completing it at what ever skill level you can. Goal of conquest is to get as many territories as you can more territories more fans. The more fans you have you can play the cpu on easier difficulty. But just completing the map with every territory you will get a bunch of packs to help build your team then you can do the turn based ones. You can always hit up YouTube for tutorials on conquest as well

Thanks for taking the time. The last baseball game I played was Bases Loaded 2 so I'm sure my difficulty level is gonna be rookie.lol

Also do the starter showdown #2. Very easy and you get signature encarnacion. Good free power bat to help you out. I would do that first

Awesome advice on shark conquest map in a span of about 10 minutes I have 13 packs to open, I'm super stoked!! (I feel dumb though, conquest is easy, it's kind of like chineese checkers)

nothing to brag about in packs but I did get the topps pack and I can sell the 2 I got for 8k a piece to put a little something together I'm thinking.

Do your best to avoid buying packs. I did a large bundle early on and I only got 1 diamond which was a lame equipment. Yes I got a ton of cards, but lost a ton of stubs.

thanks for the advice- im truly NMS, even so called "nms" cats in madden are lying- its [censored] near impossible to be nms in madden- what cracks me up are the so called proclaimed nms spenders who admit to buying the 500 pack each week- hello chief, that cost ya money,roflmao. i'm gonna be a rookie leaguer for awhile in this, players gonna love playing me.
