I have collected Mantle, and am slowly working towards Trout, but I want to work on TA which will help with the collection. Any advice on grinding it out without a lot of Showdown (tired of it). I think exchanges are best but not sure the cheapest/best way to do it. Thanks

The link from @phillydave35 is good. I also us the following guideline when purchasing cards. I shoot to spend no more than 4-5k stubs per "10 points". You'll notice that 80-81 and 85's and above aren't cost efficient. Basically, what this says if you can buy about 10-11 78's at 350 stubs, it would cost you 4,620 stubs for your 50,000 exchange points.

Someone - please check my math to see if I'm wrong. Sorry that the columns are a little wonky.

It will come down to a time vs cost issue.
Doing exchanges for bronzes is more cost conscious but you have to buy a lot more cards for 1 exchange.
It takes time to enter 100 buy orders on a computer (even longer on the PS4), and if the price spikes or someone else has the same idea and puts in 150 buy orders for 1 more stub than your lot, you are at the end of a long line.
This method is best if you don't mind waiting a day or two (sometimes longer) for the orders to be filled.

If you go with silvers, it will cost more stubs but it will be less transactions and less time entering the orders.
In the end like most things in life, it comes down to what is your time worth?

I like to do a mix, 2 buy orders per 78/79 3 buy orders per 77/76/75 and 5 orders per 74/73/72. Then I spread it out of each division.

I finished stage 2 of every team over the weekend. I already had 12 teams done. So by time I finished the other 18 teams I spent 15-20k total after recouping 3k for each team. Also pulled a couple low diamonds from the TA and BH packs.

I do exchanges on 71/72 players that are worth 805 and 997 each. Sell your duplicates and use the profit to do "buy orders" for less. For example, sell a 72 overall player for 150-200 stubs net. Then you do 3 buy orders of a different 72 ovr player at 50-60 each. That one card you sold netted you 3 that gives you 2997 in exchange points.

Was making good progress on this portion of the Trout Collection until SDS pulled that nonsense with the 99 Tatis Jr. Kinda pissed by that move
