Overall..... Do betterCurious what your ratings for the FIFA franchise look like? Theres a reason that FIFA 20 is in the bottom 10 of all time for user reviews on Metacritic. FIFA rated a 1.1 and Madden 20 rated a 1.5 by users.
FIFA 20 may be one of the worst AAA sports games of all time. Madden 20 was not a terrible game. Was not a good game but not on the same level as FIFA 20 in the 1.1/1.5 rating range. FIFA 20 is near unplayable, Madden is playable, just not fun.
Fifa is why I made this thread. I just spent about 1.6 million on packs because the game is dead (seems like they just gave up). Knowing I was going to pull nothing. I didn't pull anything over 88. EA just seemtone-deaf and unlike SDS seem to relish in mocking their audience. SDS also seems to know how to communicate effectively, while EA seems incompetent.
That 1.6 million could have made 10+ TOTY SBCs and another 10+ Icon Moments SBS lmao. Could have made an all 95+ Team with those coins you wasted not knowing how fifa works. Not to mention 1.6 million coins currently buys you Messi Ronaldo, Neymar, a full TOTSSF back line midfield and keeper with a million left over so WTF are you talking about?

There giving away 3 a week plus fifa 21 coin boosts apart from the multiple TOTY SBCs every week.

All of those NoT EvEn a 88s you got can still be put into exchanges for Icon moments or TOTY players. 1.6 million worth of packs I probably still 10 SBCs no matter how bad your pulls were because EA gives professional athletes in packs not career minor leaguer 47 over common free agents. Let’s just pretend that isn’t a thing tho right? Because nobody here would catch on to the fact 400 packs equals 1200 player which equals endless TOTY SBCs.

Bro it looks like you don't know how MLB the Show works. I made 1.3 million stubs no money spent in MLB the Show. Fifa gameplay and menus are garbage. SDS is way more generous than FIFA who constantly give out [censored] SBCs with untradable packs and expect you to thank them for it. EAs day is coming. They are going to get sued into oblivion for their lootboxes. It's going to be awesome.

When aspect I definitely favor EA over sds is that madden doesn't put free agents in their packs which severely deflates their value in the show.

This game tries to be a SIM but can't even do simple things correct. Look at moments, in an AL game the pitchers are hitting.
Simple things like that is the shortcomings of this series.
Bro, this game is far from perfect but if you understand sports and play EA games, you would learn to respect the show. This is by far the best we have for sports fans, EA is trash and 2k is no better, I’ll play the Show over anything they have to offer.

Madden does have the 500 get a player pack, but every other pack is a guaranteed loss. The sets are made to ensure that you usually lose coins. Bottom line is packs for all these ultimate teams are a rip off.

I’ve gotten WAY better pulls in Madden packs than Show packs and it’s not even close. I pull maybe 2 or 3 diamonds a year in Show packs. In Madden I might do that many in a week.

Even with Free Agents, I would take a regular pack vs a Madden Gold Pack any day and I would DEFINITELY take the time and ROI from a Conquest Map over a non-Seahawks Journeys program every time.

EA MVP baseball was definitely better than mlb the show especially animations wise,even after all these years; madden even with all the nuances is still a really fun gm,I don't spend any money on madden n still end up with a great team,I'm not into FiFA

Content is great but there are a lot of offline players who pay the money for the base game and are completely let down on game play year after year.
Aslo, I would add that I don't play online because of the horrible connection I always get. I think until SDS is able to completely fix online game play they should also offer more offline DD options! I thought the Ruth Program this year was great.
If they could fix the game play, make hitting more consistent and have more offline DD content, I wouldn't play anything else!

At least MVP Baseball had create a stadium/ballpark. It's 2020 and we cant get that in a game.
At least we 2 of each card in the game. Heck I think we have 3 types of cards for some players. "Content is so good"

I usually get Madden most years (skipped last year) but I can never get into MUT. This year, I'm "supposed to get it" so I can play an online franchise with some friends. I've never played an online franchise so I'm kind of excited about that, but I can't imagine Madden replacing The Show for Ultimate Team modes and what not.
I'm hoping that this is finally the year that they at least get the gameplay right. With actual owners running the teams in the online league, I at least won't have to worry about stupid transactions for the most part.

Lol ok yeah sure man, I would also definitely prefer 3 out of 4 free agent cards over say an actual gold card. Heck even the chance of pulling an elite card as way way higher in mut than getting a diamond in the show. Miles above and beyond. But you do you boo.
