Hamels isn't too expensive.

Hamels is solid. Just have to know how to mix up his pitches. I also really like Seaver and he’s free if you have the time to get him. I would also agree with Orel. He’s probably my favorite pitcher at the moment.

R.I.P to your Hamels when your opponent is good enough to take pitches (aka lay off the cutter) and you end up floating a circle change for a strike down the middle for 510 ft shot. I may or may not be speaking from experience.
