Was losing 7-2 in the 7th, Offered friendly quit

This thread is just stupid lol

This happen to me today. Dude offers me a friendly and I decline it. I score two first inning, he proceeds to tie it up, I score more, he ties it up (all on weak hits, no crack of the bats, all dots or outside the zone pitches, I think I left one cutter down the middle). I go up by 3 I believe entering the 7th. He proceeds to score 1 in each of the 7,8,9 to force extras then proceeds to score 3 in the 10th to win 10-7. Not a shot at my opponent but if you strike out 15 times in a game on HOF, and somehow win...there’s a problem. I was flabbergasted that I think I need a break from this game lol.
I truly believe the friendly quit glitch is real.
Also the other day my friend decided to play someone. He tried to offer a friendly in first. My friend declined. He scores 2 first inning so my friend said well let me offer a friendly so it can reset the karma. He did, and was declined, and proceeded to win. Lol

I generally tend to perceive people who offer friendly quits while being down a ton as clowns. That's just me though.

Like I said - It’s real...If people choose to not believe it, Let them...No skin off my back if they take unnecessary losses.

I believe!!!!

I've won a handful of games after denying a friendly quit so personally I'm not buying it. Like someone else said its a mental thing, once you deny the frienly request you put more pressure on yourself and press

your advice is bad - all you have to do is just don't do anything - let the opponents timer run down - go on your iphone, take a smoke, whatever to pass the time in between
Are you suggesting that this is a legit glitch?
Can't tell if you are being your usual sarcastic self..LOLmate i have no clue if its a legit glitch, but i was 100% serious i believe in the crux of what youre saying so in practice i never deny just let that timer run out
-
It’s not real lol you just want to flex your comeback
-
Sure seems strange how you can control a game to the point an opponent can't do much if anything while I can do no wrong, get the ole friendly quit request and instantly everything changes.

Yep this is what I will do from now on. I don't have much patience to wait the 2 or 3 mins every time but it is either that or stop playing online or altogether.

Was getting spanked the other day and went to quit and accidentally sent a friendly. It was denied so I just stuck it out. The very next pitch I hammered one out. You might not be guaranteed a win but I do think something happens in the game to up your chances.

Is it possible this was coded in on purpose? Why not? Maybe SDS had a Zoom meeting, someone suggested "hey, you know what would be cool. If we put in a code that penalizes the people that refuse friendly quits." Someone else at the meeting (that is influential) says "That would be an awesome idea". The project mgr. says "Done..let's get it out in the next update".
They for sure wouldn't advertise it. It's that simple, and how software development works sometimes. Do I believe it's true? I guess the couple times I can remember turning down friendlies..if the opponent didn't just out right quit right then...and the game was extended to a completion. I did lose So, I guess my EXTREMELY small sample set would say "why not".

It is real

Certainly appears that way.

Yep and I have crystal ball for a quirk!!!

I think there maybe something to this. Happened to me a couple of times and I thought about this before ever reading a post about it. Maybe it's mental or a coincidence. Hmm...

You got lucky and had a good comeback. There is no such thing as a FQ glitch. That theory is about as dumb as all the fools crying about the so called "comeback" logic in early 19.
Btw... No disrespect but anyone that offers up a FQ after going down is not in their right mind if they think their opponent is supposed to feel sorry for them and accept it.
Exactly. I never understand people asking for a FQ when they're losing. Who in their right minds is going to give it to them? It did irritate me the other day in an event game, I was winning like 2-0 and asked for a friendly quit, because I needed to help with groceries, and the dude declined. It's not a huge deal but I don't get it. I'm winning and ask for a FQ. Obviously, something must have come up that I need to get out of the game.
