Johnson’s delivery isn’t thaaat much slower than other SPs. It’s maybe 6 seconds vs 4 seconds. Who cares. Plus, most of you whineburgers will be pitching with runners on 90% of the time anyway.
The h/9 is low and the pitches suck
He hasn’t even been confirmed yet and you’re already trashing his hypothetical attributes?
I was just going off of his sig card last year. What ever card he gets this year will be similar. He also didn’t have a slider or cutter last year which hurts him
Fair enough. But I loved his SS card last year! He was lights out (or “lights oot,” as our Canadian allies would say). Also, he had pretty respectable hitting attributes for a SP. I didn’t realize he could swing it when I pulled his card last year, but he hit a no-doubter in his first game (maybe even in his first AB) and he was always a tougher out than my opponents would realize.

Only card I really need now Griffey for outfield or a good SS. Maybe a couple more SP options.

Maybe he played different for you. He didn't play well for me so that is why I hope for Gossage who I never got to try last year...moments extreme was BS lol

Agree to disagree. Other than Mantle and Trout, he's the most valuable card in the game. Harper doesn't come close to him this upcoming inning.

A cards price depends way more on how its obtained than how good it is
