This one will have to most variety in opinions I think compared to the other two rankings. Most of this list comes down to being personal preference, as I think A lot of these cards bring the same thing to the table, it just comes down to swing preference, etc

    1. Orel Hershiser-The easiest pick for number 1 ever. IMO he is the best pitcher in the game(Haven’t used or seen Mize or Feller but they aren’t worth 400k+)
    2. Kerry Wood- Control is the only downfall to this card. Otherwise a dominant SP
    3. Juan Marichal. This one has really grown on me. At first glance he looks terrible but he really keeps hitter off balance
    4. Lou Brock- This one really surprised me on how good he is. 99 speed and a sweet sweet swing with decent enough pop. Speed makes up for poor fielding in left
    5. Eric Davis- Good Fuelding, Speed, Arm, Power. He is quite prone to striking out for me which is the only issue
    6. Al Leiter- I don’t like him nearly as much as the top 3 pitchers, but he is still very solid
    7. Jim Thome- Fantastic power. Should be anyones number 1 bench bat vs righties.
    8. Harmon Killebrew- Same as Thome but switch to being a Bench bat vs left
    9. George Brett- I love this card but he is sort of a jack of all trades master of none type. Good but not too good
    10. Jason Kendall- only this high because he is a catcher and I can’t hit with Torre, Posey, or Biggio. My best hitting catcher until Posada was released
    11. Al Kaline- Love the player, don’t love the swing, but has diamond fielding at all 3 outfield spots
    12. AJ Burnett- Bad control and overall not very dominant, but he could eat up some innings for anyone
    13. Andre Dawson- Kind of the same deal as Brett but at a more loaded position. Great no doubt animation though
    14. Fred Mcgriff- Destroys baseballs but I couldn’t get base hits with him at all. Homerun or bust 100%
    15. Robin Yount- He is good enough with diamond fielding at short, but was just meh when I have used him
    16. Tom Henke- He is a reliever and an easy prestige, but honestly he just isn’t that good
    17. Tony Gwynn- he is pretty solid but I guess I was spoiled by last years gwynn. This one isn’t quite as good and contact hitters aren’t OP this year
    18. Mike Schmidt. Controversial pick as he has a pretty much unanimously hated swing, but diamond fielding at 3rd is a huge plus and once you get his swing down he is really good
    19. Michael Young- Good contact and is the only TA3 guy that can play 2nd, but is probably the most forgettable guy on here
    20. Jay Buhner-See Evans
    21. Dwight Evans- Good Fielding and arm, but just not the first choice in a TA 3 outfielder
    22. Jeff Bagwell- Kills lefties but his stance is just to terrible to do any real damage
    23. Don Mattingly-this card is sneaky good, but there are better bats at first base in TA3 and he is slower than I would like an outfielder to be
    24. Tim Salmon-See Bichette
    25. Dante Bichette- Actually hits the ball very hard, but that fielding doesn’t belong in the outfield
    26. Paul Konerko. Not a bad card by any means, Actually hit the ball hard for me in limited use, there are just too many TA 3 first baseman and Konerko will even be a bench bat on a White Sox theme team once Frank is released
    27. Matt Williams- Honestly not that bad of a card, but LuGo or Finley should have been the choice for the Dbacks.
    28. Jim Palmer- Same reasons as Smoltz below, but has a tougher release to pick up.
    29. Catfish Hunter- Just doesn’t have enough to stand out and is always one of the worse high rated pitchers in the game
    30. John Smoltz-I wanted to like this card, but is bad because he is a product of the pitching meta. He doesn’t have a sinker or cutter, doesn’t throw 100, and doesn’t have a funky release. You need one of those 3 things to be successful

The big surprise in there is the Juan Marichal at 3. Maybe I need to give him another try?

Very good list, thanks! Here are a few thoughts:
-I picked up Smoltz pretty cheap during the latest market crash and figured I'd give him a go. I agree with you, nothing stands out but for me he has done well in a limited sample size. Pitched 7 shutout innings with 11K in RS all star (I'm between 500-600 right now) and his control was sneaky good. You have to mix your pitches like crazy though, don't throw the same pitch twice or you get hurt.
-I've used Gwynn as my starting RF for a couple weeks and he is doing fairly well. Lots of little Texas leaguer hits. My gripe is that his low power stats are really hurting. I've hit several perfect-perfect doubles in the gap or fly outs at the track which with someone else (say McGriff) those are no doubt HRs.
-Dawson. Love the fielding and the arm but for me it's boom or bust. He either hits HRs or its an out. Don't know why.
-Haven't tried Marichal yet but since he is fairly inexpensive to buy and based on your ranking I may give him a shot. I'm currently running Maddux/Smoltz/Hersh/Saberhagen/Hamels (or Newhouser or Kluber).

Marichal was really easy to hit. I think he is top 20. Definitely not #3. Other than that this list is really accurate!

I’ve just found that it's really easy To keep people off balance with him. The key is not to go for strikeouts and try to induce soft contact

Maybe my opponents were using him wrong making him easy to hit
