I pulled him and first ranked season game was on all star. My opponent also had him. I gave up 3 runs in the first. He gave up 2 runs in the first. He disconnected. Nolan's control is bad and he has 2 fast pitches and 2 offspeed. All you have to do is sit fb and react to offspeed. Lots of walks and pitches that float down the middle. He might be better on hall of fame but a good player will destroy him.
As a regular WS level player, that’s a lot easier said than done.
IMO he is worth it.

This card is absurd in a few aspects. One negative, he's easy to pick up on as @darthkdog09 said. Yeah, he's got a fastball and some off-speed stuff, but his delivery doesn't make you flinch or anything. I just stayed patient when going against him. Second, I had him at nearly 70 pitches by the 5th, and by the 7th was still throwing 102mph gas - which is totally unrealistic imo.

Ryan has the worst control in this game. Do not use him. Where did all this praise come from all of a sudden? He’s one of the most hated pitchers in this game?

Yes he is worth it. Bought him off the market and i don't regret it at all. First game 7IP 2H 1ER 14K. Dude is
. Everyone has opinions. Certain pitchers work for some and not others. 99 Maddux is the same way. He is elite for me as well. -
I wanted to take him, but I couldn’t pass up on Hornsby, best hitting 2B in the game prolly all year

Interesting take. Might pick up 99 Nolan and try him out. What I've found this year is the cards play differently for everyone. I can't hit with 99 Banks, but can rake with 86 Baez at SS
