I can pick those 4 up in the 1st inning. Some like fielding bs and opposing pitchers dotting with terrible control pitchers especially late in the game.

Just had disconnect 175. More pitches right down the middle even on perfect releases. Funny how that happens on basically every ws player. No wonder they hit .350. Game puts everything on a tee. I'm hitting .300 with pitchers like Wood dotting corners.

Stop playing online! Good Lord why is this so difficult for people to understand here? Playing online is not as good as offline play. Just accept it if you are going to play online. Whining about it won't do anything since it's been like this ever since the game freaking went online.

You’re not wrong. For me though, I don’t really have much interest in playing offline. I do the moments and conquests to unlock cards to use them online. This is only the second year I’ve played the game, but it’s excruciating. The online play is so inconsistent that, win or lose, I just feel bad after playing. I can’t imagine how people have played this game year in and year out. I will say that last year didn’t have nearly the discrepancies with pitch speeds and timing windows. It’s really the only game I want to play, but unless they do something to make online play more consistent, I think (hope) I’m done after this year.

Just played another ws player with Rhode Island in his name. I am in fn Missouri. Why am I playing people halfway across the U.S.? It makes for a [censored] playing experience. Non-stop pitches down the middle again, 40 speed Buster Posey gets a triple because my outfielder wants to look at the ball on the ground instead of picking it up, 2 fielding errors, Hershiser looking like he is throwing 110. If you don't deal with these issues, you should probably be quiet. Many people do. It is a HUGE problem in this game. SDS' day will come. Why do you think after all these years they are finally going cross platform? It is because the product sucks and they are not making the money they used to. People are getting fed up with it. SDS hasn't adjusted the one thing they need to in order to make this a fair and level playing field.
I used to spend extra money on this game even with the issues. I haven't spent any additional money and won't. Offline is extremely boring but at least the bs isn't near as bad.

Add in the fact every WS player plays at shippet park and perfect internet homerun after homerun - I don’t have to get a monitor to play any other sports game, why the hell should I have to buy one to make WS? -

Add in the fact every WS player plays at shippet park and perfect internet homerun after homerun - I don’t have to get a monitor to play any other sports game, why the hell should I have to buy one to make WS?Monitors help with input lag especially if you are playing on a TV with higher input lag. Just messing around, I tried to play on my 55" Sony on game mode and it wasn't good. I would push the button to swing and there was a noticeable delay in the game swing. I am also messing around with meter pitching and there was a delay in that also. In this game, the batter/pitcher interactions are extremely sensitive to those delays. It makes timing the pitches and hitting extremely difficult if you have input lag. The good thing is you can find a pretty good monitor for relatively cheap these days.

Never have or never will claim to be a top 5 or even 50 player for that matter. Even if they address the connection issues, most good players will be able to adjust and still be good. I want 95 mph to look like 95 mph every game. Not 85 one game and 110 the next. It would just make for a fair and level playing field for everyone and much smoother game play.
I understand why they use peer to peer. It is cheaper and more cost efficient for a small company like SDS. I can handle any results if 95 looks like 95 every game. They seriously need to address the connection issues in this game and have needed to for a while. It was much more evident this year with more people at home on the internet.
