I decided to sim the season on my rookie year and 2nd year. I did get called up to Triple-A late in the 1st season. However, I didn't get called up to the majors until my 3rd season.

I think there should be an option where our guy does get called up to the majors in the 1st year faster or have the option to start in the majors only after the draft.

I understand the grind can be fun in RTTS starting from AA, but it wouldn't be bad to have your guy straight from the draft to MLB level.

    Thoughts?

If the game is to be simulation of MLB then you should know it’s super rare for players to go straight from college to MLB ( off top of my head Ben McDonald for the Orioles and John Olerud I believe) let alone from high school. I don’t think anyone has went straight from high school to MLB since some pitcher for the Reds in the 50’s.
I would rather like to see the option for different tracks to the Show like a fast track for Superstar potential players where they get to Majors in 1-2 years (i.e. Griffey Jr., A-Rod) if you meet certain criteria playing in the minors or a 2-3 years for others and maybe if one wants to play only in the minors (lol) a career minor leaguer track up to 10 years.

Literally every single time I do an RTTS, I skip Triple A and go straight to the majors as a 68 overall, and I'm getting tired of it.

The whole idea of RTTS is to feel like a real player that starts in the minors and WORKS his way into the majors. When I first started playing this game in 2009 it almost always took at least 2 seasons in the minors to get to the majors. If you don't want to play minor league then go to a different mode like DD.

I’d say the last three years of RTTS you can get called up in first year if you’re doing well in AA. Last year i was up before the alistar break with Orioles and starting.

This year I played first half in AA and than for about two weeks was in AAA, than was up on major league club (Pirates) doing pinch hits. Won starting job in spring training though. I think the mode is fine. The League leader stats for AI players seem to skyrocket if your player is hitting well tho

Would say if i decide to goto college after the showcases it should ask me if id like to join a particular team each time not go right into draft
