So, I was worried him getting smacked around too, but I picked him up and have used him, even in the events on all star I think I've only given up one run in 7 or 8 appearances. Yes you can hit him, but most of it is weak and by no means am I having opponents crush anything. I feel like I'm able to keep hitters off balance, buy mixing it up and playing the chess match with you're opponent is important. You also have to really work the corners and edges at various heights, which I've had no problem doing with him.
You have to out think you're opponent with Maddux, nothing he has is overpowering and placement is very important.

I feel the same way about Rollins. I was ready to get him, but after his moment that was by far the hardest for me to complete I didn't get him right away. I just can't hit with that card. At least I found out and it saved me some stubs.

100% user error, but please keep posting threads like this. The less people see him, the more success I have pitching with him.

Pitching is broken this year! Problem with Maddux he just throws to slow! U need speed in this years game to be a great pitcher! And change ups and curves no matter what u do with them u will hang them ! Perfect pitching input still doesnt mean perfect result ! Pitches can go as anywhere! So taking maddux at 300 wouldnt be smart! Musial is the pick by a mile! Quick swing smashes lefties ! The best 1B in the game by a mile! Rollins also very good swing solid 4 tool player! If prestige u get 80 power! But yeah maddux is a waste on my opinion

You sadly mistaken if you think he isn't good. Just cause you faced some guys that can't pitch with him doesn't mean he ain't good. Also if you faced him in The event then his sinker is easy to time but even in event his curve makes people look like a 5 year old trying to catch a butterfly with a net. I'm 22-8 in events with him and he has been great for me.

Shhhhh, a couple youtube videos told everyone he's bad, now they think he's bad, don't change their views, it makes life easier for the rest of us!
