Long list of best cards at each position

Lolling at Posey's 60 power as 1 catcher, didi being "best" shortstop and chipper rated over Donaldson who's objectively better at everything
Couldn't even finish the list

Ok follow up question then, over who. My bench is
Biggio
Sheffield
Jackson
Blackmon
GriffeyI'd replace Blackmon in favor of Brock in your case. Brock's speed alone on the base paths and in LF makes this sort of a no-brainer.
If you think that's a no-brainer then you have clearly never hit with 96 Charlie blackmon.
Sure. He hits, but so does Brock (sneaky power too). Depends on what each person values. I value defense and speed way more in the outfield. Blackmon lacks that.
Blackmon lacks the arm strength, reaction and speed. That's not debatable. Not saying it's a bad card by any means. .
yes I will agree brock is a better fielder but the question we were answering was for a bench player. A pinch hitter. He was not asking for a starting left fielder he was asking about a bench player. he already has trout, mantle and Walker in the outfield. Brock or blackmon are not replacing any of those guys. If you have two outs in the bottom of the 9th and I had to pick between Brock or Blackmon at the plate with bases loaded I would pick Blackmon.
That's flat out moot, all due respect. No way you bring in Blackmon over Biggio and Sheff anyway in a pinch hit situation with it all on the line.
If I have someone in scoring position with bases loaded, I plug in Brock as a pinch runner in a cocaine heartbeat with his phenomenal 99's in speed, stealing and base running aggressiveness.
There are attributes besides contact and power that matter this year. Speed and defense this year matter. You can't always hit bombs and deep gappers.
I wholeheartedly disagree with all due respect. If there is a righty on the mound I'm definitely putting in Blackmon over Biggio or Sheffield no matter how well you hit with those cards. Secondly, baserunning aggressiveness has nothing to do with user input. That is for offline CPU play. That attribute means absolutely nothing when playing a human opponent. Lastly, I'm going to put someone on my bench who rakes as opposed to someone that is fast. if you don't think power and contact mean more this year than speed then you must not be playing much online.

Where did I say that speed and defense means more than power and contact online? I clearly didn't say that. Since you asked, I play both online and offline. You seem upset.
Remember, we're talking about a bench player in this case. Not a starter. Seems you like to make blind assumptions.

Well because you said you can't always hit deep gappers and bombs. You then said that speed and defense matter this year. If we only have room for one player on our bench then it is obvious you go for power and contact over speed and defense especially if it is a bench bat. Defense does not play a role when your outfield is already trout, mantle and Walker. Also, blackmon has 72 speed which is pretty good for a slugger. I could def tell you play mostly offline.

I don’t understand why you listed Jose Ramirez as SS. His primary is 3B but he’s able to play 1B, 2B, SS, LF. For me, J-Ram is most valuable at 2B. None of the other 2B can match his power with 102 vision and switch hitting ability.. I would list Ramirez as the #1 2B.

Are you seriously this daft? I didn't say anything about bringing in high rated speed and defensive players to have a big at-bat over a high rated power and contact guy.
I mentioned to bring Brock as a pinch runner. Read again!
You're bringing in Blackmon over Biggio, Reggie and Sheff? With the game on the line? That's a laugh.
Your response posts are nothing but subterfuge. At best.

Try to keep up ma'am. The person that started this had one opening on their bench and was looking for that last person as a bench bat. They were not looking for a speed or defensive replacement. Therefore I said Blackman would be perfect but you chimed in and said Lou Brock because of speed and defense. the poster was not looking for a pinch-runner, he was looking for a bench bat. that is not what he is looking for, you just added your own spin to this. Also yes I would easily rather have Blackmon hit versus a righty pitcher over Sheffield, Biggio or Reggie. Reading is fundamental.

Ma'am? Sick burn.
You're arguing about someone else's team in a bench role. I was just trying to help the guy, not argue with you. Ironic about reading being fundamental. Looks like you need to practice what you preach.
No where did I ever say speed and defense is bigger than contact and power. See, that was your biggest mistake in assuming that in your debate. Some cards work for some, not for others is all.
How are you hitting online with Blackmon? Just curious. I think it's a good card.
No hard feelings. I'll see you on the other threads.

I didn't name the Cleveland basebsll team ! And we are talking about your list! So why bring up that! I'm just sharing my opinion about your list! I think it's bad. All good that u have amazing results with Posey who sucks vs RHP. And didi can't play defense! U face way more RHP then lefties so there is no way posey can be rated that high! And didi has little speed and defense so how can u justif him also rated that high? Plus u left off amazing players ! Did u not use them?
Of course no list will be perfect! We all know each person will have different result then others!
