No, my point was that you're not as good as you like to think you are and your posts come off as sour grapes when you make them and are quite annoying. That’s false because this game is BROKE. I’m not claiming to be the best I’m claiming that the line outs are atrocious and make the game play bad. YOU are talking about skill level not me. The top player complain about this. It’s in every stream. It’s been posted consistently.
My man I’ve had this argument with a guy just like you last season. He agreed to play me in 16 which is a version of this game that actually worked. And I smoked him. And he was considered by this community...the best player on this community.

Yep he beat my all common team by 1 run with his god squad and I think it was my very first DD game on 16 too. Wouldn’t call that “smoked”
He also wouldn’t rematch me with fair teams that really shows how confident he wasI don’t remember exactly what team you used. You can’t see your opponents team like you can in current games. And you called it a GOD squad. Not really. I had 2 99 players. Arod and Ted Williams. Plus we didn’t set team parameters...like I said. You are good. I’m not taking away from your skill. I played the game to prove a point. Point Proven. I didn’t chose your team you did. And like I said. We didn’t set team parameters. And at NO TIME did you message me during the game and say “hey can we restart I want to pick a better team”.
Or anything of that sort. Only AFTER YOU LOST did you bring up that my team was better.Funny the argument started with you saying “don’t make excuses and take your Ls” and all you did when you lost was make excuses. When 20 drops we have to play again.
Also, my argument was that you shouldn’t use the game’s mechanics to justify ur losses when u lose that much. That’s completely different that losing with commons, which is actually factual. The worst part is that u only put up like 7 runs against a notoriously terrible pitcher using common pitchers

If one player squares 8 pitches for outs those outs build pitch confidence and lower pitch count which in the end has dramatic effects on game play.
User input in a competitive game should supersede everything...it’s a game. It should act as a game. The better inputs should win 100% of the time. And that’s not the case. If that were the case in call of duty there would be no pros. If this game wants to go toward the competitive level they have to stick to a learning curve and force new players to grasp it or move on. What they are trying to do it secretly make everyone happy. The real way to do that is make a skill gap and let people adjust to the skill gap. Not randomize the games inputs to structure gameplay around collected data.
Not a cry post. Not an empty sore loser complaint. The biggest issue I’ve ever seen in a game in my life is this.

Nah bro. You aren’t going to try to rub my complaint out because of the level of player you think I am. I should have about 250 more wins in this game and a 300+ batting average. I play on a monitor I am patient and have very good pci placement. You have no idea what kind of player I am. Stats in this game are a joke. That 270 average and 3 ERA Means nada when the gameplay is broke.. been making World Series since leagues were around and was very competitive before DD was even around. My complaint on the game is as valuable as anyone’s

I think if you played Mitch, you may realise that skill will win out more often than you think. I haven't played him, but I watched the last stream that happened through this forum and he is a beast. My online win record is 61 percent and I realised after watching that stream that it doesn't deserve to be higher because I'm simply not that good.
Are there faults with this game? For sure. Should those faults mean that you lose a third of your games? No! That's why the guys at the top of the leaderboards are there, consistently.
Is there any point to obsessing over those faults? No, not at this point of the cycle when they are not going to change anything.

He’s very good. I played him. And I won. I think the underestimating is of me. Everyone knows a top 25 player is very good. But I’ve seen top 10 players quit second inning down a few runs. (Not saying Thats mitch). I’m not saying Id smoke him. I can beat him. And I have. He’s down 0-1 right now in games played against me

I have played him. And I’ve won. And he made excuses and had a million reasons and never followed through with the deal of posting the results and giving the opponent credit which is what we played for. His excuse was “I had the better team.”
And “you had a god squad”. But it’s not my job in a competitive game to pick my opponents team. I play to win.And btw. He also claimed that I was hitting oppo field homers and he was lining out. Ironic. Ain’t it?

I think you underestimate how good Mitch is
He’s very good. I played him. And I won. I think the underestimating is of me. Everyone knows a top 25 player is very good. But I’ve seen top 10 players quit second inning down a few runs. (Not saying Thats mitch). I’m not saying Id smoke him. I can beat him. And I have. He’s down 0-1 right now in games played against me

Koogs is not a top player by any stretch of the imagination. Not sure why you’re bringing him up, but it’s certainly not impressive that u lost 10-9.

I think if you played Mitch, you may realise that skill will win out more often than you think. I haven't played him, but I watched the last stream that happened through this forum and he is a beast. My online win record is 61 percent and I realised after watching that stream that it doesn't deserve to be higher because I'm simply not that good.
Are there faults with this game? For sure. Should those faults mean that you lose a third of your games? No! That's why the guys at the top of the leaderboards are there, consistently.
Is there any point to obsessing over those faults? No, not at this point of the cycle when they are not going to change anything.
I have played him. And I’ve won. And he made excuses and had a million reasons and never followed through with the deal of posting the results and giving the opponent credit which is what we played for. His excuse was “I had the better team.”
And “you had a god squad”. But it’s not my job in a competitive game to pick my opponents team. I play to win.And btw. He also claimed that I was hitting oppo field homers and he was lining out. Ironic. Ain’t it?

I’m gonna give you a rematch dude relax. And I’ll give you respect if you win too. I don’t make excuses in competitive games I make excuses on allstar when I line out 40 balls and my opponent wins on late weak 0-2 counts he couldn’t track.
