Yep he beat my all common team by 1 run with his god squad and I think it was my very first DD game on 16 too. Wouldn’t call that “smoked”
He also wouldn’t rematch me with fair teams that really shows how confident he was -
I'm sorry you 2 aren't doing as ungodly well as you think you should be doing but it's February, complaints about the game are justified but claiming you'd be some 580-30 because you think you're best of the best at this game is a little too far DontChaThink?
I have a better W-L% than both of you(granted less games played but I still make WS when I'm trying to) as well as 3 12-0 runs this year. I do not fancy myself worthy to really be making these definitive statements about the game like I'm some MLB god. So if Mitch, the best player here while bringing genuine criticism to the table, thinks you're just complaining to complain, that's a yikes from me

Perfect game you've played 668 games either get over it or do something else with your time, at least Demise has only played 375, still an insane amount for 2 guys that hate the game this much.
Not about losing. Stop. This is a known issue said by the top players and top streamers in the world. “Don’t play then” is a bad approach because of everyone who had this issue which is EVERYONE...stopped playing. Then there would be no game.
Your response of ignoring it facilitates them not fixing it. I’ve seen this work for and against me in line outs. And it usually progressively improves in big moments. The problem is. If one player squares 8 pitches for outs those outs build pitch confidence and lower pitch count which in the end has dramatic effects on game play.
User input in a competitive game should supersede everything...it’s a game. It should act as a game. The better inputs should win 100% of the time. And that’s not the case. If that were the case in call of duty there would be no pros. If this game wants to go toward the competitive level they have to stick to a learning curve and force new players to grasp it or move on. What they are trying to do it secretly make everyone happy. The real way to do that is make a skill gap and let people adjust to the skill gap. Not randomize the games inputs to structure gameplay around collected data.
Not a cry post. Not an empty sore loser complaint. The biggest issue I’ve ever seen in a game in my life is this.
It's February, you have 2 options.
- Stop complaining because nothing you say is going to change 19
- Stop playing because nothing you say is going to change 19

20 comes out next month. This is a complaint about the culture of the game in general. Not 19. Will it change? Hope so. I have a lot of doubts because IT HASNT CHANGED IN YEARS...and it launched very good last year.

Honestly, you're just not as good as you think you are, top players consistently making this complaint I can understand more when they lose to someone they feel they shouldn't, but your constant complaining for an average to slightly above average player is getting old and tiresome. Pretty sure if we went back to the 17 forums there would be the same complaints from you..
Nah bro. You aren’t going to try to rub my complaint out because of the level of player you think I am. I should have about 250 more wins in this game and a 300+ batting average. I play on a monitor I am patient and have very good pci placement. You have no idea what kind of player I am. Stats in this game are a joke. That 270 average and 3 ERA Means nada when the gameplay is broke.. been making World Series since leagues were around and was very competitive before DD was even around. My complaint on the game is as valuable as anyone’s

If you look at the pictures I posted hes lying. I proved with pictures I made WS several times. And I was 758 when this convo started and to make him look silly I went from 758 to 915 in 1 day to make World Series again. So.

Also, my argument was that you shouldn’t use the game’s mechanics to justify ur losses when u lose that much. That’s completely different that losing with commons, which is actually factual. The worst part is that u only put up like 7 runs against a notoriously terrible pitcher using common pitchers

You're going to say you should have a 30 point higher batting average but don't because of the game? So I hit 57 points better than you because the game has just screwed you over that much? If you look at the pictures I posted hes lying. I proved with pictures I made WS several times. And I was 758 when this convo started and to make him look silly I went from 758 to 915 in 1 day to make World Series again. So.

Stop playing then, it's February, sorry that you both lose more than you think you should. Perfect game you've played 668 games either get over it or do something else with your time, at least Demise has only played 375, still an insane amount for 2 guys that hate the game this much.
Not about losing. Stop. This is a known issue said by the top players and top streamers in the world. “Don’t play then” is a bad approach because of everyone who had this issue which is EVERYONE...stopped playing. Then there would be no game.
Your response of ignoring it facilitates them not fixing it. I’ve seen this work for and against me in line outs. And it usually progressively improves in big moments. The problem is. If one player squares 8 pitches for outs those outs build pitch confidence and lower pitch count which in the end has dramatic effects on game play.
User input in a competitive game should supersede everything...it’s a game. It should act as a game. The better inputs should win 100% of the time. And that’s not the case. If that were the case in call of duty there would be no pros. If this game wants to go toward the competitive level they have to stick to a learning curve and force new players to grasp it or move on. What they are trying to do it secretly make everyone happy. The real way to do that is make a skill gap and let people adjust to the skill gap. Not randomize the games inputs to structure gameplay around collected data.
Not a cry post. Not an empty sore loser complaint. The biggest issue I’ve ever seen in a game in my life is this.
It's February, you have 2 options.
- Stop complaining because nothing you say is going to change 19
- Stop playing because nothing you say is going to change 19

20 comes out next month. This is a complaint about the culture of the game in general. Not 19. Will it change? Hope so. I have a lot of doubts because IT HASNT CHANGED IN YEARS...and it launched very good last year.

Honestly, you're just not as good as you think you are, top players consistently making this complaint I can understand more when they lose to someone they feel they shouldn't, but your constant complaining for an average to slightly above average player is getting old and tiresome. I play on a monitor I am patient and have very good pci placement. You have no idea what kind of player I am. Stats in this game are a joke. That 270 average and 3 ERA Means nada when the gameplay is broke.. been making World Series since leagues were around and was very competitive before DD was even around. And I agree. It’s not impressive. Games random until you get to HOF. And even then can be random.

I think if you played Mitch, you may realise that skill will win out more often than you think. I haven't played him, but I watched the last stream that happened through this forum and he is a beast. My online win record is 61 percent and I realised after watching that stream that it doesn't deserve to be higher because I'm simply not that good.
Are there faults with this game? For sure. Should those faults mean that you lose a third of your games? No! That's why the guys at the top of the leaderboards are there, consistently.
Is there any point to obsessing over those faults? No, not at this point of the cycle when they are not going to change anything.

He’s very good. I played him. And I won. I think the underestimating is of me. Everyone knows a top 25 player is very good. But I’ve seen top 10 players quit second inning down a few runs. (Not saying Thats mitch). I’m not saying Id smoke him. I can beat him. And I have. He’s down 0-1 right now in games played against me

I have played him. And I’ve won. And he made excuses and had a million reasons and never followed through with the deal of posting the results and giving the opponent credit which is what we played for. His excuse was “I had the better team.”
And “you had a god squad”. But it’s not my job in a competitive game to pick my opponents team. I play to win.And btw. He also claimed that I was hitting oppo field homers and he was lining out. Ironic. Ain’t it?
