Well this was a new one

Lol, that is very annoying I agree. Curious, was it his WS game or something? I could imagine going absolutely all out if I absolutely had to.

So his strategy worked? If you couldn't get a rally going, he must've done something right.
It's annoying seeing pitchers out of the pen but it's whatever at this point.
To answer your question I haven't faced more than 3 or 4 in a game -

I gave him the benefit of the doubt of it being a WS game, but he was only 834 before our game.

Sounds like a smart man to me, pitchers energy drains way too fast.

You do realize that Hal Newhouser, this guy's starter, can throw 140 pitches and still have green stamina, right?

Just played against a guy that used three starters and five relievers against me in 8 innings. Breakdown below.
Hal: 2 IP
Wright: 1.1 IP
McGee: 1 IP
Kluber: 0.2 IP
97 Chapman: 0.2 IP
Gagne: 1 IP
Diaz: 1 IP
Rollie: 0.1 IPThis might have been the single most annoying game I've played. His gameplan was basically, "oh, this guy gave up 2 hits, time to switch pitchers!" Made putting a rally together almost impossible.
What's the most pitchers you've gone against in a 9 inning game?
Sounds like a Brewers game

I went with the "Made putting a rally together almost impossible." and thought you had a tough time scoring, my mistake.
Guess outside of saying you faced 3 starters and 5 relievers in 8 innings I don't see the point in your post, but I don't see the point in a lot of posts on here. -

The problem seems to be is relief pitcher stamina. For some it seems like even at full rest they are hitting yellow at about 15 pitches. Until that is fixed you will continue to see this. I like the three batter rule but with relief pitcher stamina so low it’s pretty scary if someone is fouling off a lot of pitches.
