I love how everyone that can't do things efficiently has the arrogant attitude that their life is somehow harder. Maybe it is. How would you know? The only evidence we have is somehow this super busy guy collected 99 Trout without spending a dime. Again, what percentile is that success at?
I've put maybe $20 in the game since buying it. I have a wife and plenty of things going on in my life right now and yet I am 1 card away from Mantle which ill have after 1 more level. If you've been building up your collection this whole time, working the market and being efficient this card isn't that hard to get.

If you purchased the game 2 weeks ago? Then what? See the cost of live series lately? Home run derby cards? You get to use the wack Trout card once Ruth, Mantle, May's, Teddie etc are already available if you dont spend a dime and just grind away starting 2 weeks ago.... Yayyy
Cost also doesnt come close to equaling the item. Awesome.
This card choice was a monumental failure. Slap in the face to all that grinded their a$$ off.

Wow guys this blew up. @fuerelise1810 I understand and agree with what you’re saying about Trout being a bit underwhelming.
Where I have an issue is that if you actually listened to the podcast I believe we actually said that we were a bit disappointed in Trout. You came in with a comment that could’ve been proven wrong if you had actually listened to the content you were bashing.
If you give it a listen and have some legit feedback - good or bad - I will take it to heart. Someone left a 1 star review that the audio was terrible, which it was. I’m glad he left that review and now we have a new system that is much better. But when it’s obvious that you just read my post and took your bitterness about Trout out here, without listening, I’m not too concerned with what you have to say.

Why did they make it so hard to acquire Mike Trout. Basically the people who can only get him are the ones who play the game so much and all day long and the people who put money into the game. Yea, this isn't really meant for us casual players unfortunately. I love the game but I also divide my gaming tine with a few other games. I have accepted the fact that most cards are not attainable unless I spend real money, which I won't do.
I play 4-5 hours a day but isnt very good so Ill never see Trout

Your best bet is to submit a ticket to SDS and see if they can reverse those two picks for you.

Understandable, but a lot of people don't have the time to grind the team affinity and showdowns to collect all of these and just to have fun playing this games with the cards that they make so hard to get. I just think that they need to make it possible to get these cards (specifically Trout) way easier so kids who can't play that much can get a chance to use these cards and to have them on their teams and to have fun playing this game instead of getting frustrated because you know you have to spend money and countless hours on this game just to get a specific card. Ya know?

Disagree. The best cards this year are by far the easiest to get in The Show history. No participation trophies.

I get that many of us were expecting someone like A-Rod, Bonds, Sosa/McGwire, DiMaggio, etc. but that just wasn’t even realistic. Your best bet was what, Mays? You guys would have raised hell to have to pay to get him two years in a row.
I’m on these forums a lot, and one of the more common things you’ll see is people wishing they had a 99 trout to play with while baseball season is still at its peak. You got your wish people.
[censored], now that I think about it I’m actually pretty stoked about this. Even got to profit big time and now we don’t gotta worry about what to do with cards we don’t want.

I spent most of the time flipping an didn't spend anything but money for game an 20$ my gf bought me other than that I have every big card an 2 million stubs.i actually need to play the game of baseball now after I did all that lol
I had a lol moment after I read your post. I too have spent so much time playing, moments, conquest and showdown that I say the same thing to myself. Hey, play some baseball games now.
I was just talking to my gf an normally doesn't pay attention to what I'm doing in the game but noticed I spend a lot of time in auction house.she asked me if I'm ever going to actually play baseball lol...weird thing is I've done every moment, conquest map, I got like 7-8 ta left to complete to 100% for stage 3 an just hit prestige level 6 today so I'm playing the game it just doesn't feel like it because I have only played rank like 3 times....I feel bad for people when I do start ranked because I'll have the "God squad" an will be starting from the very bottom lol

I understand where you're coming from but to me in every game there has to be certain rewards only the people really willing to commit will be able to get. Think Knights of the Round in FF7. Pain the [censored] to get but once you got it it was such a feeling of accomplishment.
