Look up actual rare baseball cards (Honus being #1)

It's Ruth, Aaron, or Mays. Really no wiggle room at all.

If it's ruth, It's an L. Having someone who can't play defense cost this much isn't worth it. Mays would be good but he was a collection award last year so don't think it will be him. Aaron is a huge name but not a name that will get young kids excited so it definitely could be him. I think arod and stocker are also strong possibilities.

    To quote Brad Pitt

    "His fielding does not matter."

Especially if you're looking at a homerun every 5 ab's

Personally I'd like it to be Hank Aaron

    ...or the BIG BAMBINO

Th only "Big" players I can think of are:
    Frank Thomas
    Randy Johnson
    Don Drysdale
    Walter Johnson
    Andres Galaraga
    Mark McGwire

McGwire and Johnson are the only ones that will move the needle

Big Papi would fit the big players idea, had he not just been an inning boss.

Ryan Howard’s nickname, although little used, was the Big Piece. Howard would fit the BIG criteria and Chase Utley would fit the Chase clue if they’re tied together, but there’s a zero percent change either of them are part of the collection reward. Especially with Rollins being one of the inning bosses right now.

I think McGwire makes sense because we’ve been flooded with 1B options for months. The only one missing that comes to mind is Lou Gehrig, and he’s a lefty (Pujols can be 3B or OF).

Wish list is multiple players and the ultimate card being a 5 tool stud

If it’s not a 5 tool player I’ll be sorely let down

so the clues are "Big" and "Chase". The only big chase i can think of is oj simpson and the bronco. OJ was know as Juice. Juice is another name for steroids. I think of steroids and Bonds comes to mind.

I’ve been researching this topic for the last few days and cross referencing home runs batting averages stolen bases and fielding pct, my verdict is that it’s not a new legend sorry to say. It’s going to be Willy Mays... look with a career 660 home runs and an average of 36-37 home runs yearly, career batting average of .302 WaR of 156.2 3283 hits 1903 RBIs and 338 stolen bases where he had seasons of 40+ I think it’s going to be Willy mays

I would agree with you 100% normally, but the fact that Mays was the collection reward last year makes me think it’s not gonna be him

    1. "Chase" = Chase Young, Ohio State alum who was drafted by the "Don't call us Redskins"
    2. "Big" = Another Buckeye Alum turned professional athlete in DC:

    Frank Howard (6'7"/275)

    One guess I haven't seen...

It's the 25 year anniversary of Cal Ripken breaking the streak. Could the collection reward Ripken and Gehrig?

do you know how big of a elt down that would be for it to be Cal or even gehrig....

Ya know... seems like a lot of people forget that Griffey Jr was only 2 hr shy of McGuire at the All star break. He had 35, Sosa 33, and McGuire 37, I believe.

Guess I missed that, but was that during the last stream? Because if not, what is "El Presidente" thinking showing up unannounced like that???

Didn’t Griffey have 41 Home runs at the All-Star break in 1994 before the season got cancelled?

He did but two collections leading to JR is unlikely IMO.
