Perfect, good squared ups are so random yet you can hit homeruns with bad PCI placement pitching is irrelevant good green meters and it only usually goes 60-70 percent of the time where you want it like there's really no point in trying to play this competitively that's like getting a headshot in a shooting game and only getting damage as if you shot them in the foot game is a joke

Sorry you feel that way. I enjoy this game much more than last year, SDS did a great job and they continue to do what they can to improve the overall experience.

agreed. This is a hard game, like baseball. Put in the work, you'll get better and it will be very rewarding.

Agree with you 100%. Too many fanboys defend this game at all costs! Don't get me wrong, I love baseball and do enjoy the game and play it at least once a day despite the many frustrations!

However I completely agree with you that user input doesn't matter as much as it should and there is way too much randomness. What really bothers me is the lack of respect for physics! It's really frustrating squaring up a ball in the green and what should be a line drive up the middle is a pulled foul ball. If you look at the swing feedback, physics would dictate that it would be impossible for that ball to go foul. That being said, all games have issues. What is really frustrating with this game is SDS's refusal to acknowledge the issues or do anything about them! It took MLB players trashing the game on live streams for them to do anything about the fielding! They are too busy with DD content to care about game play!

This game has so much potential. If SDS put 1/10 of the effort they put into content into game play, this game would be insane!

How many times has a guy hammered the ball and squared up perfectly for it to be an out? Even the best hitters to ever play the game fail to get a hit more than half the time.

Point being even if you square it up and hit it perfect there's still 9 guys out in the field. You're not supposed to hit a HR every at bat. Also its just a game, if it bothers you that much then quit. Life is short. Spend more time enjoying it.

We just had a weekend where the Marlins, Orioles, and Tigers won 2 out of 3.

Baseball is weird sometimes. Deal with it.

Pitches. are like full stops they never. go where they’re supposed to but bad user input has a lot to do. with it in my case at least

My problem is not perfect-perfect outs. I actually hit good on HOF and enjoy close games. My problem is with the inconsistency of the timing in this game and SDS's refusal to acknowledge it. I actually think there are too many HR's in this game. Again I am speaking as an offline player only but it seems like it's either a HR or nothing!

I give up more homeruns on early timing swings then I do on good timing swings. Baseball is hard is not a valid rebuttal to that because this is a video game. That should reward good user input and punish bad user input, but yet my perfect perfect line drives and grounders go straight to their fielders, while my opponent is early on a dotted down and out changeup and it gets blasted into orbit

Yes I have many times. I have hit many HR's where the ball was not even in the PCI. That is the problem. It just seems random and broken, almost like user input doesn't matter at all?
