LS almost complete, need advise

I’m about to purchase deGrom and Scherzer to complete the National League LS, by selling Larry Walker and combining it with my current stubs. I’ll get Sheffield for NL LS and I’ll put him in RF to replace Walker. Does that make sense? I also have my Level 1 Diamond reward, so I get to choose from Larkin, Sandberg & Minoso (already have Posey & Reggie).
*side note - I only need Cole, Verlander & Trout to complete the American League LS.

You are far from collections I think Walker is easily better than Sheffield so I would just keep for now and earn stubs slowly. You could maybe sell the next inning boss

Yeah, I’ve been playing with Walker, but I just haven’t gotten his swing down yet.

I have a couple of TAs that I’ve completed, so maybe sell one of them (Killbrew, Eric Davis, Mattingly and Thome)? I also have a Greinke 99.

It depends if you want to go after the collection coming next Tuesday (the 28th). If not, I would wait to sell TA3 guys you don’t like when the collection comes out (I’m pretty sure FOTF will have to do something with the collection coming)

Both are amazing hitters. Walker has way better fielding. Remember you'll also come away with I think 16K stubs after completing those 2 team collections, plus NL East, plus full NL. So it's Gary + 16K vs. Larry.
I think the main considerations would be: Do you need good fielding or can you handle bronze fielding, do you need a lefty power bat or a righty power bat in your lineup and, would you rather have Larry and take a bit longer to get Gary/eventually Mickey, or do you really want to get them ASAP?
Edit: I agree with Olive's point about waiting to see the collection reward(s). I personally have a feeling it will be multiple cards, so might be worth waiting to see before locking in anything.

Also with the Team Affinity players, selling all the ones you have acquired so far would get you probably around 150k give or take (make sure to do sell orders never quick sell), plus the 16k from finishing NL collection, you would be almost complete with AL too, probably just needing a little more stubs and Trout.
If the big collection includes team affinity, those prices will skyrocket and you can make bank off of those cards, but if they don't they will probably drop a little. I would still say to wait for the big collection to see though.
+walker is a 5 tool player and can possibly be endgame

thats what I did, when TA3 first came out I grinded MTO for a couple of teams, sold em off at a big profit, and got some lucky pulls too to complete LS collection

It all depends on your main objective. It was priority for me to complete collections as early as I possibly could this year.
You have some big names left, but I would always sell off everything I had, bosses included, to get my collections.
Also keep in mind you earn stubs for collecting. When I got Mantle, I was down to less than a 1,000. And jumped back up to 45k
